Chapter 3: The Unexpected Visitor

Part 3

As Emily opened the door, John's heart sank even further as he heard the low, smooth voice that made his heart skip a beat. "Hey, Emily. I hope I'm not interrupting anything," the voice said. John's eyes widened in shock as he realized who it was - his boss, Michael, standing in the doorway with a friendly smile on his face. The women, however, seemed completely unfazed by Michael's presence. Emily, still standing at the door, beckoned him in with a wave of her hand. "Not at all, Michael. Come on in. We're just having a little get-together." As Michael stepped into the apartment, his eyes scanned the room, taking in the scene before him. His gaze landed on John, who was still tied up and heavily made up, and his expression changed from friendly to shocked. "What...what's going on here?" he stuttered. The women, still giggling and snickering, began to explain the situation to Michael. Emily, with a mischievous glint in her eye, launched into a detailed account of how John had been a bad boy and needed to be taught a lesson. Rachel and Sarah chimed in, adding their own versions of the story, each one more outlandish than the last. John, however, was mortified. He had never been so humiliated in his life. He begged Michael to believe him, to know that he was not the person the women were making him out to be. But Michael just stood there, looking at him with a mixture of confusion and concern. As the women's explanations continued, John's anxiety grew. He knew that Michael was a fair and reasonable boss, but he also knew that this situation was beyond explanation. The photos, the makeup, the ropes - it all seemed so bizarre and surreal. Finally, Michael turned to Emily and said, "I think I've heard enough. John, can you tell me what's really going on here?" John's eyes locked onto Michael's, and he took a deep breath. "I...I don't know, Michael. I think these women have gone too far. I don't know what I did to them, but they seem to have a vendetta against me." Michael nodded thoughtfully, his eyes never leaving John's face. "I see. Well, I think it's time for me to take over. Emily, Rachel, Sarah - I think it's time for you all to leave." The women, still giggling and snickering, reluctantly agreed to leave. As they filed out of the apartment, Emily tossed a parting shot at John. "Don't worry, John. We'll be keeping an eye on you. And don't think for a second that this is over." As the door closed behind the women, Michael turned to John and said, "Okay, let's get you untied and cleaned up. And then we're going to have a long talk about what's going on here." John's heart sank as he realized that this was far from over.
