The Daily Bugle
Part 1
Peter Parker adjusted his camera lens and focused on the bustling newsroom of the Daily Bugle. He had been working as a freelance photographer for the Bugle for years, and it had become a second home to him. As Spider-Man, he had a unique perspective on the city's news, and J. Jonah Jameson, the Bugle's publisher, was always eager to get his shots. Just as Peter was about to head out to cover a story, Jameson stormed out of his office, his signature scowl deepening as he spotted Peter. "Parker, I need you to get some shots of the new 'expert' they're bringing in to talk about the recent string of robberies." Peter nodded and followed Jameson to the conference room, where a tall, blonde-haired man with piercing blue eyes was holding court. This must be the expert, Peter thought, as he raised his camera to capture the scene. The blonde-haired man turned out to be Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, and Peter couldn't help but feel a jolt of surprise. He had heard of the Fantastic Four, of course, but he had never met any of them in person. As Jameson introduced Johnny to the staff, Peter couldn't help but notice the way Johnny commanded attention with his charming smile and effortless charm. He seemed to light up the room, and Peter found himself drawn to him in a way he couldn't quite explain. As the meeting broke up and Johnny began to chat with Jameson, Peter hovered around the edges, trying to get a few shots. Johnny caught his eye and flashed him a smile, and Peter felt his heart skip a beat. "Hey, you're the photographer, right?" Johnny asked, walking over to Peter. "I'm Johnny Storm. It's great to meet you." Peter shook his hand, trying to play it cool. "Peter Parker. Nice to meet you too, Mr. Storm." Johnny chuckled. "Call me Johnny. We're going to be seeing a lot of each other, I think." As they talked, Peter found himself feeling more and more at ease around Johnny. He was easy to talk to, and his quick wit and infectious laugh made Peter feel like he'd known him for years. Jameson, however, was not pleased with the direction of the conversation. "Parker, get back to work! I don't pay you to socialize with our guests." Peter nodded hastily and turned back to his camera, trying to focus on the story at hand. But he couldn't help sneaking glances at Johnny, who was still chatting with Jameson. As Johnny left the Bugle, Peter felt a pang of disappointment. He had enjoyed Johnny's company, and he couldn't help but wonder if he'd see him again soon. Little did he know, their paths were about to cross in ways he never could have imagined.
