**Chapter 3: Diagon Alley and the Leaky Cauldron**

Part 3

The sun was shining brightly as Sally and Percy stepped off the bus and onto the bustling streets of London. They had arrived in the city to acquire Percy's school supplies and get a glimpse of the wizarding world he was about to enter. Sally had been putting off this day for weeks, but she knew it was inevitable. As they made their way through the crowded streets, Sally couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. She had grown up in this city, and the memories of her time with James, Lily, and Poseidon came flooding back. She pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on the task at hand. Their first stop was Diagon Alley, a hidden street that was home to all things wizarding. Sally had been to the alley a few times before, but she had never brought Percy along. As they stepped through the entrance, Percy's eyes widened in amazement. The alley was a marvel, with towering buildings and colorful shops. They walked past the famous Ollivanders wand shop, and Percy couldn't resist trying to peer through the window. Sally smiled, remembering the countless times she had done the same thing when she was his age. Their next stop was Flourish and Blotts, a bookstore that specialized in magical texts. Percy wandered the aisles, running his fingers over the spines of the books. Sally watched him, feeling a sense of pride and wonder. This was a new world for him, and she was excited to see him explore it. After acquiring a few books and some basic supplies, Sally and Percy made their way to the Leaky Cauldron, a popular wizarding pub. They slipped through the entrance, a hidden door behind a dumpster, and into the warm, bustling atmosphere of the pub. The Leaky Cauldron was a hub of wizarding activity, with patrons from all walks of life gathered at the bar or in the corners, chatting and laughing. Sally and Percy made their way to the bar, where a friendly bartender greeted them. "Welcome to the Leaky Cauldron, Sally and... young Percy, I presume?" he said, eyeing Percy with interest. Sally smiled, feeling a sense of relief. "That's right. We're here for a butterbeer and a bit of advice." The bartender nodded, sliding a butterbeer down the bar to Percy. "Well, you've come to the right place. I'm Tom, by the way. I've known Sally here for years." As they chatted with Tom, Sally couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude. The wizarding community was a welcoming one, and she was glad to see Percy fitting in so easily. As they finished their butterbeers and prepared to leave, Percy turned to Sally with a mischievous grin. "This is amazing, Mom," he said, his eyes sparkling. "I feel like I'm part of a whole new world." Sally smiled, feeling a sense of pride and wonder. "You are, sweetie," she said. "And I'm glad to be here with you." As they left the Leaky Cauldron and made their way back to the Muggle world, Sally knew that this was just the beginning of Percy's journey. She was excited to see where it would take him, and she was grateful to be by his side every step of the way.
