**The Call of Duty**

Part 3

As Hange swiftly got out of bed, I felt a pang of disappointment wash over me. The warmth of his body, the comfort of his presence, was suddenly gone, replaced by the chill of the night air. He quickly got dressed, his movements economical and efficient, a testament to his years of experience in handling high-pressure situations. I watched, feeling a sense of resignation, as he grabbed his phone and headed for the door. "I'll be back soon," he promised, bending down to kiss my forehead. "Just...just hold on, okay?" I nodded, trying to smile, but my heart wasn't in it. I knew that his work would always come first, and I was just a temporary distraction from his duties. The thought stung, and I turned away, trying to hide my tears. As the door closed behind him, I felt a sense of emptiness wash over me. The room seemed bigger, the shadows cast by the moonlight outside more ominous. I got out of bed, padding over to the window to stare out into the night. The city was alive, the lights of the skyscrapers twinkling like stars. I felt small, insignificant, a mere spectator in the grand drama of Hange's life. I wondered what lay ahead for us, whether he would ever be able to find a balance between his work and his personal life. As I stood there, lost in thought, I heard a faint knock on the door. I hesitated, wondering who it could be at this hour. I made my way to the door, peering through the peephole to see a familiar face. It was Sophia, Hange's personal assistant. She looked tired, her eyes red-rimmed from lack of sleep. I opened the door, surprised. "What brings you here so late?" I asked, trying to keep my voice low. Sophia hesitated, glancing around the hallway before focusing on me. "I have some information about Hange's company," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Something that might interest you." My curiosity was piqued. What could Sophia possibly know that would be of interest to me? I stepped aside, inviting her in. As we sat down in the living room, Sophia began to explain. "I've been working for Hange for three years now," she said. "And in that time, I've seen him make some... questionable decisions. Decisions that have put the company at risk, but also... personal risks." I leaned forward, intrigued. What kind of personal risks could Hange be taking? And what did Sophia know about it? Sophia glanced around the room again, as if she was afraid of being overheard. "I think Hange is in deeper than he realizes," she said. "I think he's involved with some people who aren't what they seem." My heart skipped a beat. What was Sophia talking about? And what did it have to do with me?
