**Sisters in Conflict**
Part 3
Magik's eyes blazed with determination as she launched herself at Psylocke, her hands weaving intricate patterns in the air. Psylocke, anticipating the attack, raised her own hands to defend herself, but Magik was relentless. She poured all her energy into the assault, sending Psylocke flying across the room. Psylocke landed hard on the stone floor, the wind knocked out of her. Before she could catch her breath, Magik was on top of her, pinning her down with a knee on her chest. Psylocke struggled to free herself, but Magik's grip was like a vice. "You should have stayed out of this, Psylocke," Magik spat, her face inches from her sister's. "You should have let me handle it." Psylocke gasped for air, her lungs burning. She tried to summon her powers, but Magik was too strong. She had her firmly under control. "Let me go, Magik," Psylocke demanded, trying to keep her voice steady. Magik's smile was cold and cruel. "No," she said, her eyes glinting with triumph. "Not until you're willing to give me what I want." Psylocke's eyes narrowed. She knew that Magik was talking about the fragments of their mother's soul. She knew that Magik would stop at nothing to get them. With a surge of adrenaline, Psylocke launched herself upwards, using her telekinetic powers to try and dislodge Magik. But Magik was prepared. She countered Psylocke's attack with a blast of her own energy, sending Psylocke crashing back to the floor. This time, Magik was ready. She pinned Psylocke down, her knee digging deep into her sister's chest. Psylocke's vision began to blur, her lungs burning with a desperate need for air. "Give me the fragments, Psylocke," Magik whispered, her breath hot against Psylocke's ear. "Give them to me, and I might let you live." Psylocke's eyes locked onto Magik's, a fierce determination burning within them. She would never give in to her sister's demands. She would never let Magik have the power to control her. With a Herculean effort, Psylocke summoned every last ounce of strength she possessed. She pushed against Magik, using all her might to try and break free. But Magik was too strong. She held Psylocke down, her grip unyielding. As the darkness closed in around her, Psylocke realized that she was in grave danger. She was at her sister's mercy, and she knew that Magik would show her none.
