**Chapter 2: "The Muppet Mansion"**

Part 2

As they drove up to the Muppet mansion, Jenny's anxiety grew. She had never been so humiliated in her life. Her dad seemed to be enjoying her misery, whistling along to the radio as they wound their way up the driveway. "Look, Jenny! The Muppet mansion!" he exclaimed, gesturing to the sprawling estate. Jenny rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah, I see it. Can we just get this over with?" Her dad chuckled and patted her hand. "Patience, kiddo! We're almost there." As they pulled up to the front door, Jenny could see a group of Muppets waiting for her. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Gonzo were all standing on the porch, waving and grinning. "Welcome, Jenny!" Kermit exclaimed, his voice booming across the lawn. "We're so glad you're here!" Jenny groaned and buried her face in her hands. This was a nightmare. "Hi, Jenny!" Miss Piggy chimed in, sashaying down the steps to greet her. "Moi is simply delighted to meet you, darling!" Jenny peeked through her fingers to see Miss Piggy bearing down on her, a sparkly tiara glinting on her head. "Uh, hi," Jenny muttered, trying to escape Miss Piggy's enthusiastic hug. As her dad handed her suitcase over to Gonzo, Jenny felt like she was being abandoned. "Okay, kiddo, I'm leaving you in good hands," her dad said, ruffling her hair. "Have a great summer, and try to behave yourself!" Jenny glared at him as he turned and walked back to the car. "Thanks, Dad. I hate you." Her dad just chuckled and called back over his shoulder, "I'll pick you up in August, kiddo! Have fun with the Muppets!" As the car drove away, Jenny turned to face the Muppets, who were all staring at her with big, goofy grins. "Well, hello there, young Jenny!" Fozzie Bear boomed, waddling forward. "Welcome to the Muppet mansion! We're gonna have so much fun together this summer!" Jenny forced a smile, trying to hide her disgust. "Yeah, great. Can't wait." Gonzo clapped his hands together. "Fantastic! Let's get this summer started! Who's up for a game of Muppet mayhem?" The other Muppets cheered and started chanting "Muppet mayhem! Muppet mayhem!" as Jenny's eyes widened in horror. This was going to be a looong summer. As they led her into the mansion, Jenny couldn't help but notice the wacky decorations and zany artwork covering the walls. "Wow, you guys really know how to decorate," Jenny said, trying to sound sarcastic. Kermit beamed with pride. "Thanks, Jenny! We like to think of ourselves as a bit...unconventional." Jenny raised an eyebrow. "Unconventional? That's one way to put it." Miss Piggy snorted. "Moi thinks it's perfect, darling! After all, we're Muppets! We're supposed to be a little...out there." Jenny sighed and trailed behind the Muppets as they led her on a tour of the mansion. She had a feeling she was in for a summer of chaos and craziness. As they entered the kitchen, Jenny spotted a giant Muppet-sized cake sitting on the counter. "What's that for?" Jenny asked, curiosity getting the better of her. Fozzie Bear grinned. "Oh, that's just our welcome cake for you, Jenny! We Muppets love to celebrate, and we figured we'd start the summer off right!" Jenny's eyes widened as the Muppets began singing "Happy Welcome, Jenny" in ridiculous, over-the-top harmony. She covered her ears and winced. This was going to be a looong summer...
