**The Test Takes a Turn**

Part 170

The bell rang, and immediately Shindo separated from me, leaving me alone in the vast testing area. I scanned my surroundings, trying to get my bearings, but before I could, Shindo reappeared right next to me. I didn't hesitate, grabbing his shadow and pulling him towards me, making him stumble to a stop. "Do you really think I would do this alone?" he asked, a hint of a smile on his face. I looked around, and that's when I saw them - a group of students with various Quirks, all of whom seemed to be targeting me. But I wasn't worried. With my shadow manipulation, I was able to take them down one by one, effortlessly dodging their attacks and countering with my own. In no time, I had taken out two of them, and their targets lit up, signaling that they were out of the test. I turned to Shindo, who looked surprised and a little defeated. "Don't worry, I'll let you go," I said with a smile, and with a flick of my wrist, I released his shadow. He looked confused for a moment, then smiled and continued on his way. As I moved forward, I came across another person I had knocked out earlier, and I was able to pass by them, earning more points. Eventually, I made my way to the waiting room, where I expected to find some of my classmates. But to my surprise, I was alone. That was when I saw him - a tall boy with a buzz cut, who looked like he was from Shiketsu Academy. He walked up to me, a loud smile on his face. "Nice to meet you! My name is Inasa, what about you?" he boomed, his voice startling me. I answered calmly, trying not to flinch. "My name is Vesper, nice to meet you, Inasa-kun." Inasa looked around the room, his eyes scanning the empty space. "It seems like we're the only two here. What's your Quirk?" he asked, still loud. "Mine is shadow manipulation," I replied calmly. "What about yours?" "I can control wind!" he exclaimed, his voice echoing off the walls. We talked for a while, exchanging stories and getting to know each other. But just as we were starting to relax, the door burst open and Deku, Ochaco, and Sero walked in, chatting and laughing. I felt a wave of relief wash over me, and I smiled, happy to see my friends. As more and more people from my class arrived, I started to get worried, wondering if everyone would make it through the test. But as the last of my classmates walked in, I felt a surge of joy and relief. I rushed over to them, hugging them tightly. "We did it, we made it!" I exclaimed, tears of happiness welling up in my eyes. As we hugged, I felt a sense of camaraderie and pride, knowing that we had all worked together and supported each other through the test. And as we stood there, surrounded by the chaos of the testing area, I knew that we were more than just classmates - we were friends.
