A New Understanding

Part 34

The warm sunlight streaming through the windows woke Caleb up from his restful sleep. He stretched his arms and yawned, feeling a bit more refreshed than he had the night before. As he got out of bed, he wondered what the day would bring. He had been a bit anxious about what the girls would discuss the night before, and he hoped that they would be able to talk about it and clear the air. Caleb made his way downstairs, his feet creaking on the wooden steps. As he entered the kitchen, he was greeted by the delicious aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods. The girls were already up and about, chatting and laughing as they prepared breakfast. "Good morning, Caleb!" Cinderella said, smiling as she poured him a cup of coffee. "We were just discussing what to make for breakfast. We thought we'd make it a special day." Caleb smiled, feeling a warmth in his heart. "That sounds amazing, thank you. I'm starving." As he sat down at the table, Belle spoke up. "Caleb, we need to talk to you about something. We had a bit of a discussion last night, and we wanted to share our thoughts with you." Caleb's heart skipped a beat as he looked at the girls, his mind racing with possibilities. He had been a bit worried about what they would say, but he was also excited to hear their thoughts. "Okay, I'm listening," Caleb said, taking a sip of his coffee. Tiana took a deep breath before speaking up. "Caleb, we all care about you deeply, and we value our relationships with you. We know that you opened up to us about your feelings and your anxiety, and we want you to know that we're here for you." Snow White nodded in agreement. "We also discussed our own feelings towards you, Caleb. And we wanted to let you know that we all have feelings for you, but we also understand that you need time to figure out what you want and how you feel." Sleeping Beauty added, "We want you to know that we're not pressuring you into anything. We just want to support you and be there for you, no matter what." Caleb's eyes widened as he listened to the girls, his heart swelling with emotion. He had been hoping that they would understand him and his feelings, and he was grateful that they were willing to support him. "Thank you, guys," Caleb said, his voice filled with emotion. "That means a lot to me. I have to admit, I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed, but hearing you say that makes me feel a lot better." Belle smiled. "We're glad we could help. And we also wanted to let you know that we've discussed what you're looking for in a partner, and we're all on the same page. We know that you want someone who is loving, caring, and affectionate, and we're all willing to be that person for you." Caleb's eyes locked onto the girls, and he felt a sense of wonder and excitement. He had been hoping that they would understand him and his desires, and he was thrilled that they were willing to be that person for him. "Really?" Caleb asked, his voice barely above a whisper. The girls nodded in unison, smiling at him. "Really," Cinderella said. "We want to make you happy, Caleb. And we're willing to take things slow and see where this journey takes us." As Caleb looked at the girls, he felt a sense of hope and excitement that he had never felt before. He knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in his life, and he was grateful to have the girls by his side.
