**Chapter 5: A Home Away from Home**

As the evening sun began to set, casting a warm orange glow over Peach's Castle, Princess Peach smiled mischievously at Mario and Luigi. "I think it's time for one more surprise, don't you?" she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Mario and Luigi exchanged curious glances, and Peach led them out of the garden, through a winding path they hadn't noticed before. The path eventually opened up to a beautiful clearing, surrounded by tall trees and lush greenery. As they walked towards the center of the clearing, a large wooden sign came into view, adorned with a colorful banner that read "Welcome to Mario Brothers' Residence!" in bold letters. Mario and Luigi's eyes widened in surprise as they took in the sight of a cozy, two-story house with a bright red roof and a cheerful chimney puffing out gentle wisps of smoke. Peach beamed with pride. "The Toads were kind enough to build this lovely house for you both, so you can have a place to call home here in the Mushroom Kingdom. I hope you like it!" Mario and Luigi stared at each other, then back at Peach, their faces filled with gratitude and amazement. "Wow, it's... it's amazing!" Mario exclaimed. "The Toads really went out of their way for us!" Luigi nodded enthusiastically. "And it's so perfect! We can't thank you and the Toads enough, Princess Peach!" Peach smiled warmly. "You both deserve a place to rest your heads and feel at home. I'm so glad you like it. Come on, let me show you around." As they entered the house, Mario and Luigi were greeted by a spacious living room with a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and two comfortable bedrooms. The house was filled with thoughtful touches, from the Mario-themed decorations to the lush plants and colorful artwork. Mario and Luigi couldn't stop raving about their new home, thanking Peach and the Toads for their kindness. As they explored every nook and cranny, they felt a sense of belonging and excitement for their new life in the Mushroom Kingdom. As the night drew to a close, Peach smiled at the brothers. "I'm so glad you're happy with your new home. You both deserve it. Get some rest, and I'll see you both in the morning. We'll plan a new adventure together, soon!" With that, Peach bid them goodnight, and Mario and Luigi settled into their new home, feeling grateful and content in their little slice of paradise. As they drifted off to sleep, they couldn't wait to see what the future held for them in the Mushroom Kingdom.
