**Forced Co-Habitation**
Part 1
The streets of Ikebukuro were once again littered with the remnants of Shizuo Heiwajima's destructive outbursts. Vending machines lay crushed, their metal exteriors dented and twisted beyond recognition. The police had grown accustomed to receiving complaints about Shizuo's antics, and more often than not, it was Izaya Orihara who footed the bill for the damages. This time, however, the police had had enough. "Mr. Orihara, we need to talk," a harried-looking officer said, approaching Izaya on the sidewalk. Izaya, resplendent in his tailored suit, raised an eyebrow. "What is it, officer?" "It's about Shizuo Heiwajima. As you know, he's been causing quite a bit of... destruction in the area. We've tried talking to him, but he just won't listen. So, we've decided to take a different approach." Izaya's expression turned curious. "What kind of approach?" The officer hesitated before speaking. "We're making him live with you, Mr. Orihara. You see, as the person who's been paying for the damages, we figure it's only fair that you take responsibility for him." Izaya's eyes widened in outrage. "What? You can't be serious!" But the officer just nodded. "I'm afraid we are, Mr. Orihara. You'll be taking Shizuo Heiwajima in, effective immediately." Izaya's face darkened with anger as he spotted Shizuo being led towards him by another officer. "This is unbelievable," he muttered. Shizuo, his eyes fixed on Izaya, cracked his knuckles menacingly. "Heiwajima's here," he growled. Izaya sneered at Shizuo. "Ah, Shizu-chan, you live with me now," he said, his voice dripping with malice. Shizuo gulped, his eyes narrowing. "Crazy flea," he spat, his massive arms crossing over his chest. Izaya chuckled, a cold, mirthless sound. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots, Shizu-chan. Come along, let's get your things. You'll be staying with me in my penthouse apartment in Shinjuku." Shizuo's glare deepened. "I don't want to live with you, Izaya. You're a pain in the neck." Izaya snorted. "Likewise, Shizu-chan. But it seems we have no choice. After all, the police have seen fit to foist you upon me." As they walked towards Izaya's apartment, Shizuo grumbled under his breath. "Stuck with a weirdo like you... This is gonna be a nightmare." Izaya smiled to himself, enjoying the animosity between them. It was going to be a very interesting few weeks. Upon arriving at the apartment, Shizuo's eyes widened in surprise. The penthouse was sleek and luxurious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning view of the Tokyo skyline. "This is your place?" Shizuo asked, his tone grudging. Izaya nodded, gesturing expansively. "Welcome to my humble abode, Shizu-chan. Make yourself at home." Shizuo scowled, his massive frame looking out of place amidst the elegant furnishings. "I don't want to be here." Izaya just chuckled, heading towards the kitchen. "Oh, I'm sure you'll adjust, Shizu-chan. After all, we have a lot of... catching up to do." The tension between them was palpable, and it was clear that this forced co-habitation was going to be a recipe for disaster. But for now, they would have to play nice, at least until Shizuo's temper got the better of him again...
