## Chapter 36: The Unknown Destination
Part 36
As the elevator doors opened on the top floor, I stepped out into a luxurious penthouse apartment. The sleek, modern decor and floor-to-ceiling windows took my breath away. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of person lived in a place like this. I walked towards the living room, and that's when I saw him - Shinso, standing by the window, looking out over the city. He turned around as I approached, a hint of a smile on his face. "Right on time," he said, his eyes scanning me from head to toe. "You look nice." I felt a blush rise to my cheeks as I tried to play it cool. "Thanks," I replied, trying to sound casual. Shinso gestured for me to follow him, and we walked into a sleek, high-tech kitchen. He opened the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water, offering me a glass. "So, what is this all about?" I asked, trying to get straight to the point. Shinso smiled and leaned against the counter, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Patience," he said. "All will be revealed in due time." I raised an eyebrow, feeling a surge of frustration. "You're not exactly filling me with confidence," I said. Shinso chuckled. "I promise you, it's worth the wait. Now, let's get moving. We have a long night ahead of us." I hesitated, unsure of what to do. But something about Shinso's words sparked a sense of curiosity in me. I decided to trust him, for now. We left the apartment and made our way to a sleek, black van parked outside. Shinso opened the door for me, and I climbed in, feeling a sense of excitement mixed with trepidation. As we drove through the city, I tried to ask Shinso questions, but he just smiled and told me to be patient. I was starting to feel like I was in a thriller movie, with no idea what was going to happen next. The van finally stopped in front of a large, abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Shinso got out and opened the door for me, his eyes glinting with excitement. "Welcome to the start of your new life," he said, his voice low and mysterious. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I stepped out of the van, looking up at the abandoned warehouse. What was Shinso planning? And what did he mean by "a new life"? I was about to find out.
