New Beginnings
Part 7
Izuku's eyes sparkled with excitement as he began his training with All Might. The two of them sped through the streets, Izuku's movements still a bit clumsy but filled with determination. Bakugo and I watched them go, feeling a mix of emotions. We were happy for Izuku, but also a bit envious. Who wouldn't want to train with the greatest hero of all time? As we walked back to school, Bakugo turned to me and grinned. "Well, it's our last day of school. Let's make it count." We spent the rest of the day goofing off, pulling pranks on our classmates, and just enjoying each other's company. It was a bittersweet day, but we made the most of it. As the school day came to a close, I said my goodbyes to Bakugo and Izuku, and started my walk home. The sun was setting, casting a warm orange glow over the city. I walked for a while, lost in thought, when I noticed a huge guy talking to a girl my age. I approached them, curiosity getting the better of me. "Excuse me, do you know where the hero agency is?" I asked, trying to sound confident. The girl looked up at me, a hint of fear in her eyes, while the tall guy turned to face me, his expression menacing. That's when I saw him - Kirishima, his eyes fixed on the ground, his fists clenched. He looked like he wanted to act, but was frozen in fear. But before I could react, Mina appeared out of nowhere, her eyes flashing with determination. "Hey, back off, buddy," she said, standing tall. "You're not going to intimidate anyone here." She took the girl's hand and led her towards the police, who were arriving just in time. I turned to Kirishima, who was still standing there, looking like he was about to burst. "Hey, it's okay," I said, trying to reassure him. "It's not your fault you didn't move. Everyone, including me, would be scared to do that." Kirishima looked up at me, his eyes wide with surprise, and then a smile spread across his face. "Yeah, you're right. Nice to meet you, my name is Eijiro Kirishima," he said, extending his hand. I shook it, smiling back at him. "Nice to meet you too, my name's Vesper." We chatted for a bit, exchanging stories and laughter. Kirishima was a bit of a goofball, but he was also kind and genuine. As we talked, he asked for my number, and I gave it to him. He smiled and blushed, and I couldn't help but chuckle. As we parted ways, I felt a sense of excitement. Maybe this was the start of something new. Just as I was about to continue my walk home, I heard a voice behind me. "Hey, you." I turned to see the same tall guy who had been intimidating Kirishima and the girl. He was walking towards me, his eyes fixed on me with an unnerving intensity. I stood my ground, unsure of what to expect.
