**Chapter 2: "The Usual Suspects"**
Part 2
As Helen continued to work on set, she couldn't help but notice the entourage that had formed around Lewis. There were the usual suspects: the publicist, the manager, the agent, all hovering around him like a protective cloud. They chatted with him, laughed at his jokes, and generally fawned over him, making sure he was comfortable and satisfied with his surroundings. Helen rolled her eyes, used to the routine. She had worked on enough sets to know that this was just the way it was – the stars were treated like royalty, and everyone else was just a supporting player. She focused on her own tasks, making sure that everything was in place for the next shot. The rest of the crew seemed to be under Lewis's spell. The script supervisor, a bubbly woman named Rachel, couldn't stop giggling whenever he was near. The gaffer, a gruff but lovable man named Mark, was trying to impress him with his knowledge of lighting setups. Even the director, a normally no-nonsense woman named Sophia, seemed to be starstruck. Helen, on the other hand, was immune to Lewis's charms. Or so she thought. As she watched him work, she couldn't help but notice the way he commanded attention without even trying. It was like he had a magnetic pull, drawing people to him with ease. The camera team was setting up for the next shot, and Helen was tasked with making sure that everything was ready to go. She walked over to the camera operator, a quiet man named Alex, and whispered, "Is everything set for the next take?" Alex nodded, and Helen checked the lights, the camera angles, and the positioning of the actors. She was so focused on her work that she didn't even notice Lewis watching her. "Hey, Helen," the director called out, breaking into her thoughts. "Can you make sure that the catering team is ready to go? We don't want any delays." Helen nodded and quickly got to work, making sure that the craft services table was fully stocked and ready for the next take. As she worked, she couldn't help but steal glances at Lewis, who was chatting with Kaia, the film's lead actress. Kaia was a stunning woman with piercing blue eyes and raven-black hair. Helen had seen her around set, flitting from one conversation to the next, always smiling and laughing. She seemed to be the epitome of Hollywood glamour, and Helen couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. As she watched, Lewis and Kaia exchanged a sparkling glance, and Helen felt a pang of... something. She wasn't sure what it was, but she quickly pushed it aside. She was here to work, not to get tangled up in the drama of the set. The rest of the day flew by in a blur of activity. Helen worked tirelessly, making sure that every detail was perfect, every camera angle was correct, and every light was in place. She was so focused on her work that she didn't even notice when Lewis came over to talk to her. "Hey, thanks for keeping everything running smoothly," he said, with a smile that made her heart skip a beat. "I know it's not easy working on a set like this." Helen shrugged, trying to play it cool. "It's all part of the job," she said, avoiding his eye. Lewis chuckled. "Well, you're doing a great job. I'm impressed." Helen felt a flush rise to her cheeks, but she quickly looked away, focusing on her work. "Thanks," she muttered, trying to sound nonchalant. As the day drew to a close, Helen couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had done her job, and done it well. And despite her initial indifference to Lewis, she couldn't help but feel a little drawn to him. It was probably just her imagination, but she could have sworn that he looked at her a little longer than necessary, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. Helen shook her head, telling herself she was being ridiculous. She was just a PA, after all. He was a star. But as she packed up her things and headed home, she couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to be more than just a behind-the-scenes type. To be noticed, to be seen, to be more than just a face in the crowd. Little did she know, their paths would cross again and again, and she would find herself drawn into a world she never expected to be a part of.
