"Confronting the Aftermath"

Part 33

As they sat there, the tension between them began to dissipate, replaced by a sense of tentative understanding. Mitsuba's expression, however, suddenly changed. His face began to flush a deep shade of red, and he looked like he was about to melt into the sheets. "Oh god..," he stammered, his eyes dropping to the floor. Kou's eyes snapped towards Mitsuba, concern etched on his face. "Mitsuba, what's wrong?" he asked, but Mitsuba just shook his head. "I... I was the one that told you to fuck me all night- all... all those lewd things..," Mitsuba said, his voice barely above a whisper. His face was now a bright, fire-engine red, and he looked like he wanted to crawl under a rock and hide. Kou's expression changed in an instant. He looked like he had been punched in the gut, his eyes wide with surprise and embarrassment. As he remembered Mitsuba's words from the previous night, he became incredibly shy and stammering. "M-Mitsuba, I-I... uh... I didn't mean to... I mean, I was just caught up in the moment... and... and you were saying some pretty... um... interesting things..." Kou trailed off, his face now a deep shade of red. Mitsuba's eyes flashed towards Kou, a look of mortification on his face. "Sh-shut up, Kou! Just... just shut up!" he exclaimed, his hands covering his face. Kou's stammering became worse, and he looked like a deer caught in the headlights. "I-I'm s-sorry, Mitsuba... I didn't mean to... I mean, you were like... a cat in heat or something... and... and I just... uh... lost control..." Mitsuba's hands remained over his face, but his voice was muffled. "Just... just stop, Kou. Please." The room fell silent, with only the sound of Mitsuba's embarrassed muttering and Kou's stammering filling the air. It was clear that they still had a lot to discuss, but for now, they just sat there, frozen in a mixture of embarrassment and awkwardness.
