Chapter 7: Morning After
Part 6
As the night wore on, Marcus eventually pulled away, his eyes gleaming with a sense of satisfaction as he looked down at Regulus's limp form. Regulus was aware of Marcus's movements, the gentle touch as he cleaned Regulus's body, and then the soft rustle of clothes as Marcus dressed. He opened his eyes to find Marcus standing over him, a look of consideration on his face. "You need to rest," Marcus said, his voice low and soothing. "You've had a lot to take in. I'll leave you to it." Regulus nodded, his eyes drifting closed as he felt a wave of exhaustion wash over him. He was vaguely aware of Marcus's departure, the door closing behind him, and then nothing. He slept, untroubled by dreams, his body still humming with the aftershocks of Marcus's touch. He didn't wake up until he was aware of a warm, wet snout nudging against his skin. Regulus's eyes flew open to find the dog, its fur fluffed up in excitement, its snout pressed against his vulva. Regulus gasped, his body jerking in surprise as the dog nuzzled him, its tongue darting out to lick his skin. He was still naked, his body still tender from Marcus's ministrations, and he felt a flush rise to his cheeks as he scrambled to push the dog away. The dog, startled by Regulus's sudden movement, yelped and backed away, its tail wagging uncertainly. Regulus lay there, his heart pounding, his body still reeling from the shock of waking up to find himself vulnerable and exposed. He slowly sat up, his eyes scanning the room for any sign of Marcus, but he was alone. The dog, seeming to sense Regulus's unease, crept closer, its eyes fixed on his face. Regulus hesitated, his hand reaching out to pet the dog, and as he did, he realized that he was still completely naked, with no clothes to cover himself. He felt a surge of embarrassment, and he quickly scrambled to find something to wear, his eyes scanning the room for any sign of the clothes he had worn before. But they were nowhere to be found, and Regulus was left to wonder if Marcus had taken them, or if they were simply lost in the transformation. He stood up, his body still trembling with uncertainty, and made his way to the closet, hoping to find something to wear.
