Chapter 1: A Desperate Proposal

Part 1

Daphine trudged through the gates of U.A. High School, her eyes scanning the crowded courtyard for a familiar face. As a student in the prestigious hero academy, she was no stranger to stress and pressure. But lately, it seemed like her life was about to get a whole lot more complicated. Her so-called "friends" had been spreading rumors that she was easy to get close to, and now every guy in school seemed to be breathing down her neck. She spotted Katsuki Bakugou, the explosive-tempered student with a reputation for being just as fierce as his Quirk, sitting on a bench, his eyes fixed intently on his phone. Daphine had always kept her distance from him, but desperation was starting to get the better of her. She took a deep breath and approached him, trying to appear nonchalant despite the butterflies in her stomach. "Bakugou," she said, trying to sound casual. He looked up, his eyes narrowing as he took in her nervous expression. "What do you want, Daphine?" he growled. Daphine hesitated for a moment before diving straight into the reason she came to find him. "I need a favor," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Bakugou raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "What kind of favor?" he asked, his tone a little softer than usual. Daphine took another deep breath before blurting out her proposal. "I need you to pretend to be my boyfriend." Bakugou's expression changed from curiosity to shock, and then, to Daphine's surprise, a sly grin spread across his face. "And what do I get in return?" he asked, his eyes glinting with mischief. Daphine swallowed hard, a part of her warning her to back off, but her desire to escape the chaos in her life overrode her reservations. "You can...do whatever you want to me," she said, her voice barely audible. Bakugou's grin grew wider, his eyes flashing with excitement. "Anything I want?" he repeated, his voice low and husky. Daphine nodded, feeling a shiver run down her spine. "Even in public?" he asked, his voice dripping with a sinister intent. Daphine hesitated, but her desperation won out. "Y-yes," she stammered. Bakugou let out a low, menacing chuckle, and Daphine couldn't help but wonder if she'd just made a huge mistake. But she pushed the thought aside, convincing herself that it was a small price to pay for a little peace and quiet in her life. "Alright, Daphine," Bakugou said, his voice dripping with anticipation. "I'll be your fake boyfriend. But don't think for a second that I'll go easy on you." Daphine nodded, a sense of trepidation building in her chest. She had a feeling that her life was about to get a whole lot more complicated.
