**Chapter 6: Anna Agrees**

Part 6

The letter from Lars arrived at Arendelle, delivered by a weary messenger who had traveled for days to reach the frozen kingdom. Anna, now back to her normal routine as a princess, received the letter and read its contents with a mix of emotions. She had thought she was done with Hans, that she had closed the chapter on their tumultuous relationship. But Lars' words struck a chord within her. Hans, the man she had once loved and trusted, was in a bad state. His mental health had deteriorated rapidly, and Lars believed that Anna was the only one who could help him. As she read the letter, Anna felt a pang of guilt and responsibility. She had cared for Hans once, and now he needed her again. But Anna was also wary. She remembered the pain and betrayal Hans had caused her, and she wasn't sure if she was ready to forgive him. Yet, as she read Lars' words, she saw the desperation in his eyes. Hans was in a bad way, and Anna knew that she had to help him. With a heavy heart, Anna made her decision. She would go to the Southern Isles, to the castle where Hans was being held, and she would do her best to help him recover. It wouldn't be easy, she knew. Hans was a proud man, and he would resist her help. But Anna was determined to try. As she finished reading the letter, Anna felt a sense of resolve wash over her. She would do this, for Hans' sake and for her own. She needed to know that she had done everything she could to help him, to make things right between them. The next morning, Anna went to Elsa's chambers, determined to tell her about her decision. Elsa, now queen of Arendelle, listened with a concerned expression as Anna explained the situation. "I have to go, Elsa," Anna said, her voice firm. "I have to help him." Elsa nodded, her eyes understanding. "I know, Anna. I can see that you're torn. But if you feel that you need to do this, I'll support you." Anna smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her sister. "Thank you, Elsa. I'll be careful." Elsa handed Anna a small, intricately carved wooden box. "Take this," she said. "It's a gift, a token of my support. You never know when you might need it." Anna took the box, feeling a sense of wonder at its intricate design. She thanked Elsa and left the chambers, determined to make her way to the Southern Isles and to help Hans. As she prepared for her journey, Anna couldn't help but think about Kristoff, her friend and confidant. She knew that he would be worried about her, and she wanted to reassure him that she was okay. She found Kristoff in the courtyard, tending to Sven. "Hey, Kristoff," she said, her voice soft. "I need to talk to you." Kristoff looked up, his eyes concerned. "What's wrong, Anna?" Anna took a deep breath, explaining her decision to help Hans. Kristoff listened, his expression thoughtful. "I understand, Anna," he said, his voice gentle. "But be careful, okay? Hans isn't exactly... trustworthy." Anna nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Kristoff. "I'll be careful, Kristoff. I promise." As she finished talking to Kristoff, Anna felt a sense of determination wash over her. She would do this, for Hans' sake and for her own. She would help him, no matter what it took. With a final glance at Arendelle, Anna set off on her journey, bound for the Southern Isles and the castle where Hans awaited her. She knew that it wouldn't be easy, but she was ready to face whatever lay ahead.
