"A New Storm Brews"
Part 2
The dimly lit chamber was silent, save for the soft crackling of the candles that lined the walls. Giyuu's eyes were fixed on the floor, his mind consumed by the revelation that his parents had reappeared, demanding that he return to them. The uncertainty of it all was suffocating him. As he stood there, lost in thought, a gentle voice broke the silence. "Giyuu-kun, we will support you, no matter what." It was Muichiro Tokito, one of his closest friends and fellow Hashira. The gentle touch on his shoulder was a comforting reminder that he was not alone. Giyuu's gaze drifted to the gathering of Hashiras before him. They all wore concerned expressions, their eyes filled with a deep understanding of the situation. Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira, stepped forward, his voice low and rough. "Those people have no right to come back into your life after what they did to you, Giyuu. We're not going to let them bully you around." Giyuu's eyes narrowed, a spark of determination igniting within him. He had long buried the pain of his past, but the reappearance of his parents had brought it all flooding back. He thought of the old man who had taken him in, the Ubuyashiki family head, and the love he had shown him. As the Hashiras began to discuss possible courses of action, Giyuu's thoughts drifted to the one person who had been a constant source of comfort and support โ Sanemi Shinazugawa. The way his eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled, the way his voice was always laced with a hint of sarcasm, and the way his presence made Giyuu feel seen and understood. Sanemi, ever the wild card, seemed to sense Giyuu's gaze and looked up, their eyes meeting in a flash of understanding. A small, gentle smile played on Sanemi's lips, and Giyuu's heart skipped a beat. The connection between them was palpable, and for a moment, the chaos of the situation receded into the background. In that moment, Giyuu knew that he was not alone, and that with his friends by his side, he could face whatever lay ahead. But as he turned to leave, he couldn't shake off the feeling that his past was about to collide with his present in ways he never could have imagined.
