**Chapter 2: A Day of Play and Laughter**

The sound of Taehyung's giggles echoed through the apartment as Jungkook hid behind the couch, his eyes scanning the room for any sign of his little one. Taehyung had closed his eyes, and Jungkook had counted to ten before calling out, "Ready or not, here I come!" Now, he was on the hunt for his hiding Taehyung. As Jungkook peeked around the corner, he spotted Taehyung's bright orange sneakers peeking out from under the bed. He chuckled and made his way over, his knees creaking as he got down on the floor. "Ah-ha! I found you, little one!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement. Taehyung squealed with delight, his face lighting up with a bright smile. "Daddy found me! Daddy found me!" he exclaimed, scrambling out from under the bed and into Jungkook's arms. Jungkook swept Taehyung up in a tight hug, spinning him around in a circle. Taehyung's laughter filled the air, and Jungkook couldn't help but join in. As they twirled, Taehyung's little space grew stronger, and his voice became even higher and more childlike. As they finished their spin, Jungkook set Taehyung down on the floor, his eyes locked onto his little one's. "Okay, little one. You're it now. You have to find me," he said, a mischievous glint in his eye. Taehyung's face lit up with excitement as he closed his eyes and counted to ten. Jungkook snuck away, hiding behind the curtains in the living room. Taehyung called out, "Ready or not, here I come!" and set off to find Jungkook. As Taehyung searched the apartment, Jungkook couldn't help but watch him with a smile. His little one was so focused, his brow furrowed in concentration as he searched every nook and cranny. Finally, Taehyung spotted Jungkook's shoes peeking out from behind the curtains. Taehyung squealed with delight, his eyes shining with excitement. "Daddy's hiding behind the curtains!" he exclaimed, rushing over to find Jungkook. As Taehyung pulled back the curtains, Jungkook reached out and swept him into a tight hug. "You found me, little one!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with pride. Taehyung grinned up at Jungkook, his face flushed with excitement. "I'm so happy, daddy," he said, his voice filled with emotion. Jungkook's heart swelled with love and affection as he hugged Taehyung tightly. "I'm happy too, little one," he replied, his voice low and soothing. As they hugged, Jungkook realized that he was getting a bit hungry. He had promised Taehyung a special treat later, but he thought it was time for a snack. "Hey, little one? How about some juice and cookies?" he asked, his eyes locked onto Taehyung's. Taehyung's face lit up with a smile. "Yay! I love cookies, daddy!" he exclaimed, bouncing up and down. Jungkook chuckled and led Taehyung to the kitchen, where he had set out a special snack. As they sat down at the table, Jungkook poured Taehyung a glass of juice and handed him a plate of cookies. Taehyung's eyes widened as he saw the cookies, which were shaped like Penguin Pooka. Taehyung squealed with delight, his face lighting up with a bright smile. "Penguin Pooka cookies! My favorite, daddy!" he exclaimed, diving into the cookies. As they snacked, Jungkook couldn't help but feel grateful for this life they had built together. He loved being Taehyung's caregiver, and he loved the special bond they shared. As they finished their snack, Jungkook reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair out of Taehyung's face. Taehyung looked up at Jungkook, his eyes shining with love and adoration. "I love you, daddy," he said, his voice filled with emotion. Jungkook's heart swelled with love and affection as he smiled down at Taehyung. "I love you too, little one," he replied, his voice low and soothing.
