Chapter 19: Seeds of Doubt

The days that followed were a blur of uncertainty for Nia. She couldn't shake off the feeling that her life was about to take a dramatic turn. She and Jon had talked about the possibility of a pregnancy, but they had both assumed that it would be a planned event, not a surprise.
