Chapter 27: A Well-Deserved Rest
Part 27
As I bid my friends farewell and headed back to my room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and contentment. The excitement of winning the vote still lingered, and I felt grateful to have such wonderful friends who appreciated the effort I put into making my space feel like home. As I entered my room, I noticed Osby standing by the window, looking out at the scenery. He turned to face me, a smile on his face. "Congratulations, you won," he said, his voice filled with warmth. I grinned, feeling a sense of pride. "Yea, I guess my room was the best," I replied, chuckling. Osby nodded, his smile growing wider. "It definitely was," he said. "You have a great sense of style, Vesper." I blushed, feeling a bit self-conscious. "Thanks, Osby," I said, smiling at him. With that, Osby bid me goodnight, and I settled into bed, feeling happy and fulfilled. I snuggled under the blankets, feeling the softness of the plush blanket that had been a hit with my friends. As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the wonderful day I had just had. It had been a day filled with friendship, laughter, and a sense of belonging. I closed my eyes, feeling my eyelids grow heavy, and let the softness of my bed lull me into a peaceful slumber.
