Back in the Den of Deceit
Part 67
As I stood frozen in Dabi's gaze, I could feel the atmosphere around me shift. The League's members began to murmur among themselves, their eyes darting towards me with a mix of curiosity and hostility. Tomura's grin seemed to falter for a moment, before he regained his composure and chuckled. "Ah, yes. It seems we have an unexpected guest." The murmurs grew louder, and I could sense the tension building. I knew I had to act fast, but my mind was a blank. That's when I heard the sound of footsteps, growing louder with each passing second. The League's members parted, and I saw Himiko Toga, her eyes shining with excitement, push her way to the front. "Wait, is that...?" she started, her voice barely above a whisper. But it was too late. The words had already spread like wildfire, and soon, the entire League was buzzing with the news. "Katsuki Bakugo's friend is here!" someone shouted. "The Explosion Hero's sidekick!" The room erupted into chaos, with everyone shouting and panicking. I knew I had to get out of there, and fast. But Dabi's eyes seemed to bore into my soul, and I felt a strange sense of unease. He didn't seem to be trying to stop me, but rather, he seemed to be savoring the moment. Tomura, however, was not pleased. His face darkened, and he barked orders at his followers. "Get him! We can't let him leave this place alive!" The League's members surged forward, their Quirks at the ready. I knew I was in grave danger, and that I had to think fast if I wanted to get out of there alive. As the villains closed in, I spotted a familiar figure pushing their way through the crowd. It was Ochaco Uraraka, her eyes wide with fear. "Katsuki! Oh no, what have you gotten yourself into?" she exclaimed, her voice barely audible over the din. But before she could reach me, the villains were upon us. I steeled myself for the fight ahead, knowing that I had to protect myself and get out of there as quickly as possible. The League of Villains was not known for their mercy, and I had a feeling that I was in for the fight of my life.
