"A Clash of Unrelenting Foes"
Part 51
I charged at Bakugo, my eyes scanning the ground for any sign of his shadow. But he was too quick, and with a mischievous grin, he triggered a small explosion right in front of me. I leapt to the side, avoiding the blast, but he was relentless. Explosion after explosion erupted around me, making it impossible for me to get close. I gritted my teeth, determined to find an opening. But just when I thought I had a clear path, Bakugo unleashed a massive explosion right in my face. I stumbled back, my vision blurring, and almost went out of bounds. But I managed to regain my footing, and with a surge of adrenaline, I launched myself at Bakugo. Somehow, I managed to land a solid punch right in his face, and he stumbled back. I took advantage of the momentary distraction and started hitting him with everything I had. We were both injured now, but I refused to give up. Bakugo was faring slightly better, but I was determined to catch up. The battle raged on, with both of us exchanging blows. But then, in a flash, Bakugo hit me right in the face again. This time, I couldn't get up. My body was exhausted, and my vision was starting to fade. I forced myself to stand up, and with a snarl, I charged at Bakugo. He did the same, and we clashed in mid-air. But just as we were about to collide, my foot slipped, and I tripped. I felt myself falling, and everything went dark. Before I hit the floor, I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I opened my eyes to find Bakugo holding me, his face etched with concern. He gently lowered me to the ground and started to carry me towards the infirmary. The crowd was in shock, and even Aizawa sensei looked stunned. But what I didn't know was that the League of Villains was watching from the shadows. Shigaraki's eyes narrowed as he watched Bakugo carrying me. "Hm, maybe we'll kidnap the explosion boy too," he said, a sly smile spreading across his face. Unbeknownst to me, the Number 3 Hero, Hawks, was also watching. His eyes widened in recognition, and a look of annoyance crossed his face. "Is that...?" he muttered to himself. Hawks had a past with both Bakugo and Aizawa sensei, having been their first fan before I gained consciousness in my actual life. He seemed ticked off, his eyes fixed intently on Bakugo as he carried me away. As Hawks watched, memories flooded back. He had been a huge fan of Aizawa sensei and Bakugo, idolizing them as heroes. But now, seeing Bakugo carry me, his former fan, he couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. His eyes narrowed, and he made a mental note to keep an eye on Bakugo and me. I lay in Bakugo's arms, unconscious, unaware of the drama that was unfolding around me. All I knew was that I was in pain, and everything was getting darker by the second.
