The Aftermath of Embarrassment

Part 41

As I sat there, trying to compose myself, I heard Izuku clear his throat. "Hey, Ochaco?" he said, his voice a little softer now. I looked up at him, still feeling a bit flustered. "Yea?" I responded, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in my stomach. Izuku looked at me with a hint of apology in his eyes. "Sorry about that," he said, his voice a little sheepish. I felt a warmth spread through my chest at his words. It was sweet of him to apologize, even if he didn't really do anything wrong. "It's fine," I said, trying to brush it off. Izuku nodded, a small smile still playing on his lips. He looked like he was trying to hold back a laugh, but I couldn't blame him. I was still feeling a bit embarrassed myself. As we sat there, looking at each other, I started to feel a strange sensation. It was like my eyelids were getting heavy, and my body was starting to relax. I looked at Izuku, and saw that he was looking at me with a similar expression. The next thing I knew, my head was nodding forward, and I was falling asleep. I felt Izuku's body slump forward, and we both ended up with our heads resting on each other's shoulders. We were both out cold, passed out from the adrenaline and emotions of the moment. It was a strange and unexpected turn of events, but as I drifted off into unconsciousness, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and comfort with Izuku by my side.
