A Text Gone Wrong

I stood there, frozen, as Ochaco and Osby waited for me to respond. My mind was still reeling from the text I had just sent, and I couldn't believe I had been so reckless. I had meant to say something casual, but instead I had gone and made it sound like I was asking him out on a real date. Now all I could do was wait for his response, my heart racing with anticipation. Just as I was starting to feel like I was going to die from embarrassment, my phone buzzed again. I glanced at the screen, and my heart skipped another beat. "it's fine it was ent on accident tho was it?" Shinso had replied. I felt a wave of relief wash over me, but at the same time, I was mortified. He had seen right through my attempt to play it off. Ochaco and Osby were still watching me, their eyes sparkling with curiosity. "So, what's going on?" Ochaco asked, her voice low and conspiratorial. I just shook my head, feeling embarrassed. "Nothing," I said, trying to brush it off. But Osby just raised an eyebrow. "You're not telling us something," she teased. I sighed, feeling like I was going to be the subject of their teasing for a while. I looked back at my phone, trying to think of a response. I couldn't just leave his text hanging, but I didn't know what to say. I decided to play it cool, trying to downplay the situation. "yeah it was an accident," I typed out, trying to sound nonchalant. As I waited for his response, I couldn't help but think about what had just happened. Had I really just accidentally asked Shinso out on a date? And what did it mean now that he had called me out on it? I felt a mix of emotions swirling inside me, and I wasn't sure what to make of it. Ochaco and Osby were still watching me, their curiosity evident on their faces. "Come on, spill the beans," Ochaco said, her voice teasing. I just rolled my eyes, feeling embarrassed. "There's nothing to tell," I said, trying to brush it off. But Osby just smiled. "We'll see about that," she said, her eyes sparkling with mischief. I knew I was in trouble. They were going to tease me mercilessly until I told them what was going on. I just hoped that Shinso would respond soon, and that he wouldn't think I was completely crazy for making such a mistake. As I stood there, waiting for his response, I couldn't help but wonder what the future held. Had I really just taken a step into something new and unknown?
