A New Day Unfolds

Emily's eyes sparkled with excitement as she typed out her response to Megan's invitation. "How about 12:30? That way, we can grab lunch and still have some time to catch up," she wrote. She hit send and waited for Megan's response, her fingers drumming impatiently on the countertop. As she waited, she took another sip of her coffee, feeling the warmth spread through her body. The response came almost immediately. "Sounds perfect! I'll meet you there at 12:30. Oh, and I almost forgot - I got us a reservation for 1 pm, just in case we want to sit and chat for a bit." Emily's face broke into a wide smile as she read the message. She loved that Megan was always thinking ahead. "Awesome, thanks for getting a reservation! I'm looking forward to it. By the way, I was thinking of doing some grocery shopping before we meet up. Nothing too exciting." Megan quickly responded, "Well listen girl what time are you doing your shopping thing?"
