**Chapter 4: "Kai's Care"**
Part 4
Kai stormed up the stairs, the medical supplies clutched in his hand. He could still hear the sound of Davis's nervous voice, and the concern etched on the faces of the others. But he didn't care. All he could think about was Ray, and the injuries he had sustained. As he entered his room, he found Ray sitting on the bed, gently kicking his feet back and forth. Kai's anger immediately dissipated, replaced by concern and affection. "Are you okay, are you sore anywhere?" he asked, his voice gentle. Ray looked up at him, his brown eyes sparkling with innocence. "I'm okay, I told you that earlier," he said, a hint of a smile on his face. Kai sighed, his eyes scanning Ray's injuries. He could see the scrapes on his face, the swelling on his nose. He felt a pang of guilt and regret, wishing he could go back in time and prevent it from happening. He walked over to the bed, and gently sat down beside Ray. Without a word, Kai began to clean Ray's wounds, using the medical supplies to disinfect and apply ointment. Ray winced in pain as the disinfectant stung, but he didn't complain. He trusted Kai to take care of him, and he knew that he was only doing it because he cared. As Kai worked, he couldn't help but think about how much he cared for Ray. He had always thought of Ray as a friend, a little brother, but in that moment, he realized that his feelings went far deeper. He felt a flutter in his chest, and his heart began to beat faster. Ray, sensing Kai's gaze on him, looked up. "Why did you get so mad?" he asked, his voice curious. Kai's eyes locked onto his, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. "Because I don't want you hurt," Kai said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I care for you, Ray. I really do." Ray's face softened, and he smiled. "I know, Kai. I care for you too." Kai's heart skipped a beat. He had never heard Ray say that before, and it sent a rush of emotions through him. He leaned in, his lips brushing against Ray's forehead. It was a gentle kiss, but it sent shivers down Ray's spine. As they sat there, Kai's hands still on Ray's wounds, he realized that he couldn't keep his feelings hidden anymore. He wanted Ray, all of him, and he knew that he had to make it clear. With a newfound sense of confidence, Kai deepened the kiss, his lips meeting Ray's in a soft, gentle caress. Ray's eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't pull away. Instead, he leaned in, his mouth opening to meet Kai's. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the moment. Kai's hands wandered, touching Ray's face, his hair, his shoulders. Ray's hands fluttered up, touching Kai's face, his chest. As they kissed, Kai knew that he had made the right decision. He was all in, and he knew that he would do anything to make Ray happy. As they parted, gasping for air, Kai smiled. He had never felt this way before, and he knew that he would never let Ray go. "I've got you, Ray," he said, his voice filled with emotion. Ray smiled back, his eyes shining with happiness. "I've got you too, Kai." In that moment, Kai knew that everything was going to be okay. He was all in, and he was ready to face whatever came next, as long as Ray was by his side.
