**Chapter 1: An Unexpected Discovery**

Part 1

Ryah's eyes sparkled with excitement as she stepped out of Silky's car and into the hotel lobby. The glamorous setting was a fitting end to their live-streamed prom, an event that had brought together their community of gamers and friends. Silky, her on-stream beau, flashed her a charming smile as he grabbed her luggage from the trunk. As they entered the hotel, Ryah's thoughts turned to their separate rooms and the prospect of spending more time with Silky. She had grown accustomed to his charming presence, and the idea of being apart from him was unappealing. Before she could voice her concerns, Silky spoke up, "I should get to my room, it's getting late and my flight's early in the morning." Ryah's mind racing, she needed an excuse to join him. She couldn't simply ask to stay with him, that would be too forward. But then, inspiration struck. "Did you pack any lotion, I forgot to and I'm a bit ashy," she said, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible. Silky nodded, "I do, follow me to my room, it'll only take me a minute to grab." Ryah's heart skipped a beat as she followed Silky to the elevator and up to the top floor of the hotel. The king suites were located here, and a spark of curiosity ignited within her. Had Silky planned for her to join him, booking a larger room with this in mind? As they reached Silky's room, he knocked on the door before opening it with his keycard. Ryah raised an eyebrow at the unusual gesture, but Silky simply gestured for her to enter. She stepped inside, and Silky closed the door behind her. The room was lavish, with a stunning view of the city. But Ryah's attention was quickly diverted as Silky moved aside, revealing two figures on the bed. Jason and Adapt, two members of Faze, were cuddled up together, looking cozy and intimate. Ryah's eyes widened in shock, her mind reeling with the implications. "Silky, what...what is going on here?" Ryah's voice trembled, her usual composure beginning to slip. Silky turned to her, a calm expression on his face, which only served to fuel Ryah's anger. "Hey, Ryah, come on in," Silky said, as if hosting a casual gathering. Jason and Adapt exchanged a glance, their faces sheepish but not apologetic. Ryah's gaze narrowed, her eyes darting between the three of them. "You're...you're together?" Ryah's voice rose, her tone incredulous. Silky shrugged, "Yeah, we're all good friends. We hang out sometimes." Ryah's laughter was bitter, "Friends? You call this friendship?" She turned to Jason, her eyes flashing with anger. "And you're 21, Jason. You know Adapt is 28, and Silky is 28 too. There's an age gap here, and I don't think it's healthy." Jason shifted uncomfortably, but Adapt spoke up, "Hey, we're all adults here. We can take care of ourselves." Ryah's anger boiled over, "But it's not just that. You're pretending to be straight, and you're in a relationship with not one, but two people. How can you do that? How can you deceive me, and the rest of Faze?" Silky held up his hands, a placating gesture. "Ryah, calm down, let's talk about this," Silky said, his voice soothing. But Ryah was beyond reason. She felt betrayed, and her usual control was slipping. "You know, I thought we had something real, Silky. I thought you felt the same way about me. But I guess I was just a pawn in your game, a game of deception and secrecy." Ryah's voice cracked, her emotions raw. The room fell silent, the tension between them palpable. Ryah's gaze locked onto Silky, demanding answers. But before anyone could speak, the door burst open, and the rest of Faze walked in, their faces curious and concerned. The scene was set for a confrontation that would change everything. Ryah's world was about to be turned upside down, and she wasn't sure if she'd ever be able to look at her friends, or herself, in the same way again.
