"A Night to Remember"

Part 2

"Sit down, slut," Sirius growls, his eyes blazing with anger as he drags Regulus back into the Gryffindor common room. Regulus' face pales, and for a moment, he seems to shrink away from Sirius' venomous words. James' eyes widen in surprise, and he shoots Sirius a warning glance. "Sirius, come on," he says, trying to intervene. But Sirius is beyond reason. He's had enough of Regulus' antics, and he's determined to put a stop to them. He pushes Regulus down onto the couch, his hands grasping Regulus' shoulders to hold him in place. Regulus looks up at Sirius, his eyes welling up with tears. "You're always so quick to judge me," he says, his voice shaking. Sirius' expression softens slightly, but his voice remains harsh. "I'm judging you because you're being a bloody idiot," he says. "You're going to get yourself hurt, Regulus." James clears his throat, trying to steer the conversation back on track. "Hey, let's not fight, okay?" he says, his voice calm and soothing. But Regulus is beyond consolation. He scrambles to his feet, his eyes flashing with anger. "You don't know anything about me," he says, his voice rising. Sirius' face twists in frustration. "I know that you're my brother, and I care about you," he says. "But if you keep behaving like this, you're going to end up in serious trouble." The tension between the two brothers is palpable, and James tries to intervene again. "Hey, let's talk about this later, okay?" he says. But Regulus is having none of it. He storms out of the common room, leaving Sirius and James staring after him in concern. Sirius lets out a deep sigh, his shoulders sagging in frustration. "I don't know what to do with him," he says, turning to James. James shakes his head, a look of sympathy on his face. "You'll figure it out, mate," he says. "He's just going through a phase." But Sirius isn't so sure. He's worried that Regulus is heading down a path of self-destruction, and he's not sure how to stop him.
