Chapter 1: Eternal Night

Part 1

The moon cast its silvery glow over the bustling streets of Tokyo, a city that never slept. But amidst the vibrant nightlife, a different kind of creature lurked in the shadows. One such creature, Katsuki Bakugo, stood atop a skyscraper, gazing out at the cityscape with an air of superiority. His piercing gaze seemed to bore into the souls of the pedestrians below, as if daring them to cross him. At 20 years old, Katsuki had long since mastered the art of controlling his quirk, One For All. But little did anyone know, he had made a pact with a far more sinister power. A power that granted him immortality, and an insatiable thirst for blood. As a vampire, Katsuki had walked the earth for centuries, accumulating wealth and knowledge. He had lived through wars, empires rising and falling, and humanity's relentless pursuit of progress. Yet, despite his immortal existence, he felt an ache within him - a void that couldn't be satiated by the riches or the thrills of the mortal world. Katsuki's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps on the rooftop. He turned to see Izuku Midoriya, his childhood friend and fellow student at U.A. High School, approaching him with a concerned look on his face. "Hey, Kacchan, what's going on? You've been distant lately," Izuku said, his eyes scanning the rooftop as if searching for an explanation. Katsuki forced a smile, careful not to reveal his true nature. "Just enjoying the view, Deku. You know how it is." Izuku nodded, but his eyes lingered on Katsuki's face, as if searching for something more. Katsuki's heart skipped a beat, a rare occurrence for a vampire, as he worried that Izuku might discover his secret. As they stood there, a chill ran down Katsuki's spine. He sensed a presence, one that didn't feel quite human. His eyes narrowed, scanning the rooftops for any sign of danger. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. Tall, with piercing eyes and skin as pale as the moon, the stranger seemed to embody the very essence of the night. "Well, well, well," the stranger said, his voice low and husky. "If it isn't the infamous Katsuki Bakugo. I've heard so much about you." Katsuki's instincts screamed at him to be cautious. Who was this stranger, and what did he want? He turned to Izuku, his eyes warning him to stay back. But Izuku, ever the hero, stood his ground. "Who are you?" he demanded, his fists clenched. The stranger chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I'm someone who's been searching for you, Katsuki. Someone who knows your secrets, and is willing to keep them... for a price." As the stranger's words hung in the air, Katsuki felt a shiver run down his spine. What did this stranger want, and how much did he know about Katsuki's immortal existence? The night had only just begun, and Katsuki's world was about to be turned upside down.
