Chapter 7: Love in Full Bloom
Part 7
One day, Kenzy was strolling through the park with Alex and Levi, enjoying the warm sunshine and the sound of birds chirping. The three of them had become good friends over the past few months, often meeting up for coffee or going on group outings. As they walked, Kenzy was chatting with Alex about her latest project, a novel she was working on, when she felt a sudden tap on her shoulder. "Hey, I'm going to grab some ice cream," Levi said, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Kenzy turned to him, smiling, and that's when it happened. Without warning, Levi grabbed her and pulled her close, his lips crashing down on hers in a passionate kiss. Alex's eyes widened in surprise, and he let out a low whistle. "Well, I guess that's one way to get a kiss," he muttered, rolling his eyes in jealousy. Kenzy was taken aback, but she couldn't help feeling a rush of excitement at the sudden display of affection. She had grown accustomed to Levi's displays of affection, but it still caught her off guard sometimes. As Levi pulled away from the kiss, Kenzy's face was flushed, and she couldn't help but laugh. "What was that for?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with amusement. Levi grinned, his eyes shining with happiness. "I just couldn't help myself," he said, taking her hand in his. "I've been wanting to do that all day." Alex cleared his throat, trying to get their attention. "Hey, guys, can I just say something?" he asked, his voice tinged with a hint of jealousy. "Kenzy, you're really glowing lately. I'm happy for you, but Levi, you're really going to have to work on not being so obvious." Kenzy playfully elbowed Levi in the ribs. "Hey, watch it," she said, smiling. Levi chuckled and pulled Kenzy close. "I'm just glad I can be obvious with you," he whispered, his lips brushing against her ear. As they continued their stroll through the park, Kenzy couldn't help but feel grateful for the way things had turned out between her and Levi. She had never felt this way about anyone before, and she knew that she had found someone special. The rest of the day was a blur of laughter and conversation, with Alex occasionally interjecting with a witty remark or a teasing comment. But Kenzy and Levi were lost in their own little world, enjoying each other's company and the warm sunshine. As they walked, Kenzy realized that she had never felt this way about anyone before. She was happy, truly happy, and she knew that it was all because of Levi. She glanced over at him, and he smiled back at her, his eyes crinkling at the corners. Kenzy's heart skipped a beat as she looked at him, feeling grateful for the chance to be with someone who loved her for who she was. She knew that their relationship was still new, but she couldn't help but feel that they were meant to be. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the park, Kenzy and Levi found themselves walking ahead of Alex, their hands entwined as they strolled through the grass. "I'm glad we're doing this," Kenzy said, smiling up at Levi. "Me too," he replied, his eyes sparkling with affection. "I don't know what I'd do without you." Kenzy's heart melted at his words, and she knew that she felt the same way. She leaned in, and Levi met her halfway, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, gentle kiss. As they pulled away, Alex cleared his throat, trying to get their attention. "You two are really cute," he said, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "But can we please get some ice cream? I'm starving." Kenzy and Levi laughed, and the tension was broken. They continued their stroll, enjoying the warm evening and each other's company, with Alex tagging along behind them, a smile on his face.
