**BETRAYED BY THE TITANS**
Part 1
As we ventured outside the walls, the scorching sun beating down on us, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. Our survey team, consisting of myself, Hange, and several other members, had been tasked with gathering crucial information about the Titans that lurked beyond our safe haven. Hange, my beloved boyfriend, walked closely beside me, his eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of danger. As a member of the Scout Regiment's Hang Squad, I had grown accustomed to the thrill of exploring the unknown and facing the Titans head-on. But nothing could have prepared us for what was about to happen. Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed through the air, and the ground shook beneath our feet. Titans emerged from the trees, their eyes fixed on us with an unblinking stare. "Alert!" someone shouted, and our team sprang into action. I readied my 3D maneuver gear, preparing to take to the skies and engage the Titans. But before I could even move, a massive Titan, its eyes fixed on me, charged in my direction. I tried to react, but it was too late. The Titan's fist came crashing down, striking me with incredible force. Everything went dark. When I came to, I was disoriented and in agony. I tried to move, but my body wouldn't respond. I was paralyzed from the chest down to my waist. A searing pain shot through my head, and I realized with horror that my skull was shattered, exposing my brain. I tried to breathe, but my lungs felt like lead weights, and my diaphragm seemed to be weak. Hange's face appeared above me, his eyes filled with panic and despair. He gently grasped my head, speaking softly, trying to keep me calm. I saw him mouth something, but I couldn't hear what he was saying. He quickly moved to my side and began to examine my injuries. It was then that I felt a strange sensation in my throat. Hange had inserted an endotracheal tube deep into my airway, and I could hear the sound of the ventilator beeping in the background. I tried to process what was happening, but my mind was foggy. As we lay there, Hange cradling me in his arms, I felt my heart stutter and then stop. I was vaguely aware of Hange's lips on mine, his breath pushing air into my lungs as he performed CPR. The world around me began to blur, and I felt myself slipping away. Somehow, we made it to the medical infirmary. I was vaguely aware of the sound of beeping machines and murmuring voices. Hange's face was still etched in my mind, his eyes filled with worry and fear. As we arrived at the infirmary, Hange looked at the medical staff with a commanding tone, "Prepare everything! The patient is in critical condition. They suffer from a severe spinal cord injury and a severe head injury." His voice was firm, but I could detect the underlying panic. The medical staff sprang into action, rushing to my side as Hange held me close. I was trapped in a nightmare, unable to move or escape the pain that ravaged my body. I could only lie there, helpless, as the machines beeped and whirred around me, trying to keep me alive. And then, everything went dark once more.
