Sparks Fly

Part 1

The college campus was abuzz with the sound of chatter and footsteps as students scurried to and fro between classes. Katsuki Bakugou, a rugged and confident college student, leaned against his desk, eyeing his classmates with a mixture of disdain and boredom. His explosive orange hair was messy, as if he'd just rolled out of bed, and his piercing blue eyes seemed to dare anyone to challenge him. As the professor droned on, introducing the new students to the class, Bakugou's gaze wandered, his attention drifting to a commotion near the door. A girl with vibrant red hair and striking green eyes had just walked in, her bright smile and infectious laugh drawing the attention of everyone in the room. Akira Nakahara, a petite but fiery redhead with an artistic air about her, seemed oblivious to the stares. She scanned the room, her green eyes sparkling with excitement, as she searched for an empty seat. Her quirky style, a mix of bohemian and modern elements, made her stand out in a sea of bland college attire. Bakugou raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the newcomer's boldness. He watched as Akira confidently strode across the room, her long red hair bouncing with each step, and plopped down in an empty seat beside him. The professor continued to introduce Akira, explaining that she was a transfer student from a different university, and Bakugou found himself tuning out. His attention was fixed on Akira, who was busy fiddling with her bag, completely absorbed in her own little world. As the class discussion began, Bakugou couldn't help but sneak glances at Akira, who was participating enthusiastically, her green eyes shining with intelligence. He was surprised to find himself drawn to her quirky energy, but quickly pushed the feeling aside. He wasn't interested in getting tangled up with anyone, especially not some bubbly, new student. The professor assigned a group project, and Bakugou's group consisted of himself, Akira, and two other students. As they began brainstorming ideas, Bakugou found himself butting heads with Akira, who had a vastly different creative vision. Their opposing personalities clashed, but beneath the surface, a spark of attraction flickered to life. Bakugou dismissed the feeling, focusing on the project at hand. As they worked, he caught himself stealing glances at Akira, who was scribbling notes with a flourish, her green eyes sparkling with creativity. The air around them seemed to vibrate with tension, and Bakugou felt a shiver run down his spine as their hands accidentally touched. The spark of attraction flared, and Bakugou quickly withdrew his hand, pretending it was an accident. Akira looked up, her eyes locking onto his, and for a moment, they just stared at each other, the chemistry between them palpable. Bakugou looked away, his heart racing with a mixture of excitement and unease. He had a feeling that this new student, Akira, was going to be trouble. Little did he know, their electric attraction was only just beginning to spark.
