Unbridled passion coursed through Bertrand's veins as he gazed into Grizelda's eyes, her mischievous spark igniting a fire within him. With a gentle smile, Bertrand scooped Grizelda up into his arms, settling her onto his lap as he sat back against the couch cushions.
