**Chapter 8: Caught in the Act**

Part 8

"Hmm, I think both of you guys are equal!" Nene said, her voice laced with cockiness, as she tried to maintain her carefree demeanor. Tsukasa's eyes sparkled with excitement, and he took a step closer to Nene, his face lighting up with a mischievous grin. "So you have a crush on both of us?" he exclaimed, his voice dimming into a childish tone, as if he had just figured out a puzzle. Nene's face turned a deep shade of red, and she stuttered, trying to come up with a response. "I-I didn't say that!" she protested, but her voice trailed off, and she looked down, her eyes avoiding Tsukasa's and Amane's gazes. Amane, who had been watching the exchange with interest, suddenly spoke up, his voice calm and collected. "Nene, it's okay, you don't have to deny it," he said, his eyes locked on hers. "We already know how you feel." Nene's eyes widened in surprise, and she looked up at Amane, her face still flushed. "H-how do you know?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Tsukasa, who had been quiet for a moment, suddenly chimed in, his voice excited. "Yeah, we've been wondering for a while now!" he exclaimed. "You're always smiling at us, and you get all flustered when we're around... it's pretty obvious!" Nene's face turned an even deeper shade of red, and she looked like she was about to collapse. She had been caught, and she didn't know how to react. She had been trying to play it cool, but now it seemed like her feelings were out in the open. The air was thick with tension, and Nene could feel her heart racing with embarrassment. She looked at Tsukasa and Amane, who were both staring at her with expectant expressions. She knew she had to say something, but she didn't know what. Tsukasa, who had been quiet for a moment, suddenly took a step closer to Nene, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "So, which one are you going to choose?" he asked, his voice laced with anticipation. Nene's eyes widened in panic, and she looked at Amane, who was watching the exchange with a calm expression. She knew she had to make a decision, but she didn't know if she was ready.
