Chapter 1: Family Vacation

The sun was setting over the palm trees as Nick and his family arrived at their vacation rental in Florida. The house was a beautiful, two-story beachside bungalow with a large pool and a private patio. Nick's parents, John and Emily, were excited to spend some quality time with their four sons, and the boys were stoked to be away from school for a week. As they unpacked, Nick couldn't help but think about his boyfriend, Max. They had been dating for three years, and Nick was 19, just like Max. They were both home from college for the summer, and Max was supposed to meet up with Nick's family for dinner later that night. Nick's twin brothers, Matt and Chris, were busy arguing over who got to control the TV remote, while their older brother, Alex, was out exploring the neighborhood. Nick smiled to himself as he texted Max. "Hey, babe," he typed. "Just got to the house. Can't wait to see you tonight." Max responded almost immediately. "Hey, handsome. I'm thinking about you. You're such a good kisser — I get instantly hard when your lips touch mine." Nick's face turned bright red as he looked around to make sure no one was watching. He quickly typed out a response. "You're making me hard right now. Can't wait to see you tonight and do it again." As he put his phone away, Nick's mom called out to him from the kitchen. "Nick, can you help me get dinner ready? Your dad is setting up the grill outside." Nick got up and headed into the kitchen, trying to focus on helping his mom rather than thinking about Max's sexy texts. But as he began to chop vegetables, he couldn't help but feel a little distracted. He was excited to see Max later and was looking forward to their sexting sessions that always seemed to heat things up between them. As they worked on dinner, Nick's mom asked him about his plans for the summer. Nick mentioned that he and Max were thinking about going to the beach again and maybe taking a road trip to visit some of their friends. "That sounds like fun, sweetie," his mom said. "Just make sure you're being responsible and staying safe." Nick nodded, feeling a little guilty about the sexting he and Max had been doing. But he pushed the thought aside and focused on helping with dinner. As the evening drew to a close, Nick's dad called out that dinner was ready. They all sat down to eat, and Nick couldn't help but feel grateful for his family and their little vacation. As they finished up dinner, Nick's phone buzzed with a text from Max. "I can still smell you in my bed, and it’s turning me on…" Nick's face turned bright red again as he quickly got up from the table to go to the bathroom. He couldn't help but respond. "You're making me crazy. Can't wait to see you tonight." He walked out of the bathroom a few minutes later, feeling a little more composed. But as they all sat down to watch a movie together, Nick couldn't help but wonder what the rest of the vacation had in store for him and Max.
