"A Night of Solace"

Part 4

Suzuya was taking off his clothes from the photo shoot he just did when there was a knock on the door. He quickly put on his robe and opened the door to see one of the men who was taking photos of him. The man smiled creepily at Suzuya, staring him up and down, almost touching every part of Suzuya's body with his eyes. "Perfect, just perfect," the man said, making some perverted comments that Suzuya tried to ignore. He reached out to touch Suzuya's soft cheek, and Suzuya stood there like a doll, his expression emotionless. His mind was conditioned to let photographers touch him whenever they wanted, as his mama had instructed him. The man seemed to take pleasure in Suzuya's stillness, and he lingered for a moment before finally leaving. As soon as the door closed, Suzuya quickly put on his clothes and walked out, his mind reeling with thoughts. The whole experience felt like a nightmare, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of discomfort. As he walked down the street, Suzuya's emotions finally surfaced, and he felt a wave of nausea wash over him. He stumbled into a back alleyway and vomited, the sound of his own retching echoing off the walls. He stood there for a moment, trying to catch his breath, and wondering how he had ended up in this situation. It was around 9 when Suzuya finally arrived home, late for his usual time. The delicious smell of food snapped him out of his emotionless mindset, and he felt a glimmer of hope. Tamaki was the first to greet him, still crying about what had happened earlier. He launched himself at Suzuya, snuggling him and not wanting to let him go. Suzuya petted Tamaki's head, trying to comfort him, as Nakarai called out that dinner was ready. They headed to the kitchen, and the warm glow of the meal seemed to lift Suzuya's spirits. As they ate, Suzuya couldn't help but reminisce about the times he was alone, eating his burnt leftovers and crying in his bed after coming home from work. Nakarai noticed the shift in Suzuya's attitude and asked him about it, but Suzuya just looked at him, his eyes welling up with tears. He tried to hide them, not wanting to show his weakness. "It's just a tough day," Suzuya whispered, his voice barely audible. As they finished dinner and headed to bed, all of his nekos cuddled beside him, trying to soothe him. They could tell he wasn't feeling well, and they wanted to comfort him. Suzuya smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards them, and kissed each of their foreheads. They blushed, and Tamaki tilted his head, kissing Suzuya on the lip. Suzuya smiled, pulling Tamaki into a hug, and cuddling him into his chest. "You all are so adorable," he said, his voice filled with affection. "I'm glad I have you." As they settled in for the night, Hanbee played with Suzuya's hair, Nakarai curled up on Suzuya's back, and Mikage's right hand never let go of Suzuya's shirt, even as he gazed at the stars. They fell asleep, a bundle of nekos and Suzuya, wrapped in a cocoon of love and comfort.
