**Chapter 2: Wreckage and Rescue**
Part 2
Days passed, and Iduna washed up on the shores of the Southern Isles. Local fishermen stumbled upon her, exhausted and battered. They took her to the palace, where Queen Ravena, a just and fair ruler, was informed of the mysterious woman's arrival. As Iduna lay on the cold stone floor, she slowly opened her eyes to find herself in a grand hall. The high ceilings and large windows seemed to stretch on forever, and the sound of murmuring voices filled the air. A gentle face peered down at her, and Iduna saw a woman with kind eyes and a warm smile. "Welcome, traveler," the woman said. "My name is Queen Ravena. I see you've had a terrible ordeal. My people found you washed up on the shore, half-dead." Iduna tried to speak, but her voice was hoarse from the saltwater and exhaustion. Queen Ravena nodded and signaled to one of her servants, who brought a cup of warm tea. "Drink this, it will help soothe your throat," Queen Ravena said, as Iduna sipped the tea. As Iduna's strength returned, she looked around the hall and saw the curious faces of the palace staff. Queen Ravena smiled and took Iduna's hand. "Don't worry, you're safe now. We'll take care of you until you're well enough to continue your journey." Iduna's eyes welled up with tears as she looked at Queen Ravena. She had never felt so grateful in her life. The palace staff bustled around, bringing Iduna warm clothes and a comfortable bed. As she rested, Iduna couldn't help but think of her daughters, Elsa and Anna, back in Arendelle. She wondered if they were worried about her, and if they knew she was alive. Days turned into weeks, and Iduna slowly regained her strength. Queen Ravena visited her often, bringing her food and conversation. Iduna told her about her family, her husband Agnarr, and her daughters. Queen Ravena listened intently, her eyes filled with compassion. One day, as Iduna was taking a walk in the palace gardens, she saw a young man watching her from afar. He had a sad look in his eyes, and Iduna sensed that he was troubled. "Who is that young man?" Iduna asked Queen Ravena, as they walked together. "That's my son, Hans," Queen Ravena replied. "He's a good boy, but he's been through a lot. His father...well, that's a story for another time." Iduna's curiosity was piqued, but she didn't press the issue. She sensed that there was more to the story, and she was determined to learn more. As the days turned into weeks, Iduna became a guest in the palace, and she began to learn more about the Southern Isles and its people. She discovered that the kingdom was ruled by King Westergaard, a brutal and harsh ruler who taxed his people heavily and crushed any dissent. Iduna's heart went out to the people of the Southern Isles, and she knew that she had to do something to help them. But for now, she was content to rest and recover, surrounded by the kindness of Queen Ravena and her staff. The sound of laughter and music drifted through the palace corridors, and Iduna smiled, feeling a sense of hope that she hadn't felt in a long time. Maybe, just maybe, she had found a new home, and a new purpose. The Southern Isles, with its lush green landscapes and blue waters, seemed like a far cry from the frozen fjords of Arendelle. But Iduna knew that she couldn't stay here forever, and that she had to find a way to return to her daughters. For now, she was safe, and that was all that mattered. As she looked around the palace, Iduna noticed the intricate details of the architecture, the beautiful paintings on the walls, and the fine furnishings. She knew that she was in a place of luxury, but she also sensed that there was darkness lurking beneath the surface. The Southern Isles, with its brutal ruler and impoverished people, seemed like a powder keg waiting to explode. And Iduna, with her experience as a queen, knew that she had a role to play in the drama that was unfolding. But for now, she would rest, and let the events of the kingdom unfold. The fate of the Southern Isles, and the people who lived there, was about to change forever. And Iduna, with her courage and determination, was at the center of it all.
