"Chaos at Streamer University"
Part 1
It was 11:30 pm on a typical Wednesday night at Streamer University, and Ray, a 19-year-old student from Taiwan, was hanging out in the community space of his dorm with his roommate Tota, a Brazilian who barely spoke English, and a few other students, including Rakai, a 16-year-old with a sassy attitude and a penchant for flirting. The group was chatting and laughing, enjoying each other's company, when suddenly, a random guy burst into the room. "Hey, you're Tota, right?" the guy demanded, his voice loud and accusatory. "I've been looking all over for you. You ding dong ditched at my room earlier today!" Tota, who had been quietly sitting on the couch, looked confused and shook his head. Ray, who was sitting next to him, immediately jumped to his friend's defense. "N-no, that's not true," he stuttered, his thick Asian accent and higher-pitched voice evident. "Tota was with me all day. He didn't leave my side." The random guy scoffed. "Oh, so you're saying I'm lying?" Ray nodded, his beautiful brown eyes flashing with determination. "Y-yes, I am. Tota's not that kind of guy." The situation quickly escalated into a heated argument, with the random guy becoming increasingly agitated and Ray and Tota standing their ground. The argument spilled out into the hallway, drawing the attention of other students, including Tylil, who was walking back to his room. Tylil, a 24-year-old student with a calm and collected demeanor, tried to intervene, but his attempts at de-escalation only seemed to make things worse. He appeared to take the random guy's side, which further fueled Ray's anger. "Ray, come on, man, let's just go back to our room," Rakai said, trying to calm Ray down. "This isn't worth it." But Ray was too worked up to listen. He continued to argue with the random guy and Tylil, his voice rising in frustration. Eventually, Rakai had to physically drag Ray and Tota back into their room, not wanting to get caught up in the conflict and risk getting hurt. As the night wore on, Ray and Tota went to bed, exhausted and shaken. Rakai said goodnight and headed back to his own dorm, where his roommate Jamal was waiting. The next morning, Ray was feeling a bit off, but he didn't think much of it. That was, until he and Rakai walked into the dining hall for breakfast and were met with a surprise attack by Tylil and the random guy. Tota, who had been feeling unwell, had stayed in bed that morning. The attack was intense and one-sided, with Tylil and the random guy targeting Ray with blows and insults. Ray tried to defend himself, but he was no match for the two attackers. He ended up with a busted lip, bruises all over his body, and a severe soreness that made it hard to move. Just as it seemed like things were going to get even worse, a security guard intervened, separating the combatants and dragging them to the dean's office. "Dean Kai, we have a situation here," the guard said, knocking on the door. "Send them in," Kai replied, his voice firm but concerned. As the door opened, Kai's eyes widened in shock and anger. There, standing in front of him, was Ray, his secret boyfriend, battered and bruised.
