A New Beginning

Part 1

The salty sea air whipped through Iduna's long brown hair as she clung to the rail of the ship, her eyes fixed on the horizon. The memories of the shipwreck that had brought her to this moment were hazy, but the relief of seeing the fjords of Arendelle rising up from the water was crystal clear. She had survived. Against all odds, she had made it back. As the ship navigated the icy waters, Iduna's gaze roved over the familiar landscape. The snow-capped mountains, the sparkling waterfalls, the tiny villages nestled in the valleys – it was all so beautiful, so welcoming. She felt a lump form in her throat as she thought of her daughters, Elsa and Anna, waiting for her back in the palace. The ship docked with a gentle thud, and Iduna stumbled onto dry land, her legs weak from exhaustion and her ordeal. She was greeted by the concerned faces of the palace staff, who rushed to assist her. Iduna waved them off, her eyes scanning the crowd for a glimpse of her daughters. And then, she saw them. Elsa and Anna, their faces alight with joy and worry, rushed towards her, arms open wide. Iduna's heart swelled as she wrapped her arms around them, holding them close. They had thought her lost at sea, and now she was home. The reunion was tearful, with all three of them clinging to each other, holding on tight. Iduna felt a deep sense of gratitude wash over her. She had been given a second chance, and she was determined to make the most of it. As they made their way back to the palace, Iduna couldn't help but think of all she had missed. Elsa's coronation as the official Queen of Arendelle, Anna's continued adventures and romance – so much had happened while she was away. But for now, she was home, and that was all that mattered. The palace staff had prepared a warm meal and a comfortable room for Iduna, and she spent the rest of the day resting and recovering. Elsa and Anna hovered over her, fussing and caring for her like she was a fragile doll. Iduna smiled, feeling grateful for their love and devotion. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the palace, Iduna knew that she still had a long road to recovery ahead of her. But for now, she was content to rest, surrounded by the people she loved. She had been given a new beginning, and she was determined to make the most of it. With a sense of peace, Iduna closed her eyes, feeling the warmth and love of her daughters surround her. She knew that she still had much to face, but for now, she was home, and that was all that mattered.
