A Royal Invitation
Part 28
As the conversation continued, Daisy smiled warmly at her new friends. "I'd love for all of you to come to my castle for lunch," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "It's not every day I get to share a meal with such dear friends." Mario, Luigi, and Toad exchanged delighted glances, and Peach, who had been quietly observing the conversation, nodded enthusiastically. "I'd love to," Mario said, grinning. The group made their way to Daisy's castle, chatting and laughing as they strolled through the beautiful gardens. As they entered the castle, they were greeted by the warm aroma of freshly cooked food and the sound of cheerful chatter. Daisy led them to a cozy dining hall, where a delicious spread of Sarasalandian cuisine was laid out before them. The table was filled with an assortment of exotic dishes, including steaming bowls of seafood soup, platters of colorful salads, and trays of sweet pastries. As they sat down to eat, Daisy turned to Mario, Luigi, and Toad. "I'm so glad you're all here," she said, smiling. "I want to tell you more about Sarasaland. Peach already knows all about it, of course," she added, winking at her friend. Peach chuckled and leaned back in her chair, happy to let Daisy take center stage. "So, Mario, Luigi, and Toad," Daisy began, "Sarasaland is a beautiful kingdom located in a far-off land. It's a place of breathtaking landscapes, from the towering Desert Rose Mountains to the sparkling waters of the Ocean of Dreams." Luigi's eyes widened with interest as Daisy continued. "We have a rich culture and history, with a deep connection to the natural world. Our people are known for their love of adventure, their kindness, and their generosity." Mario listened intently, fascinated by Daisy's stories. "It sounds amazing," he said, his eyes shining with excitement. "I'd love to visit Sarasaland someday." Daisy smiled, pleased that her friends were interested in learning more about her kingdom. "I'm sure you'll love it," she said. "And I hope you'll get to visit soon. Maybe I can even give you a tour myself." Toad, who had been quietly observing the conversation, suddenly piped up. "Ooh, I'd love to see the Desert Rose Mountains!" he exclaimed. "I've always wanted to see a real-life desert." Daisy laughed. "Well, Toad, you're in luck," she said. "The Desert Rose Mountains are one of the most beautiful places in Sarasaland. I'll have to take you there on your next visit." As they continued to eat and chat, the group enjoyed each other's company, sharing laughter and stories. It was clear that Daisy had a special place in her heart for her friends, and they felt equally fond of her. Little did they know, this lunch invitation was just the beginning of a new adventure...
