"A Night to Remember"

Part 2

As they stepped inside, Emma's eyes sparkled with excitement as she gazed around Daniel's opulent living room. "It's been ages since I've seen your place, Dan," she said, plopping down on the plush couch. "You always did have a knack for style." Daniel chuckled, feeling a little self-conscious about his lavish decor. "Thanks, Em. I've just been lucky, I suppose." Emma waved her hand dismissively. "You've always had an eye for design. I'm just surprised you didn't become an interior decorator instead of a football star." Daniel laughed. "I think I'll stick to football, thanks. But I do appreciate the compliment." As they chatted, Emma's eyes began to gleam with mischief. "So, Dan, I was thinking... it's been ages since we've had a proper girls' night, just like we used to back in the Hogwarts days." Daniel raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "A girls' night?" Emma nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, exactly! I was thinking, why don't you come over to my place for a sleepover? Just like old times." Daniel's eyes widened in surprise. "A sleepover? At your place?" Emma grinned. "Why not? It'll be just like the old days, remember? We'll stay up late, gossiping and laughing, just like we used to in Gryffindor common room." Daniel couldn't help but feel a flutter in his chest at the prospect of spending a night with Emma. He hadn't seen her in months, and the thought of rekindling their old friendship was tempting. "Okay, Em, you're on," he said, smiling. "But only if you promise not to make me watch any sappy rom-coms." Emma laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I promise, Dan. No rom-coms in sight. We'll watch something much more interesting." As they made plans for the sleepover, Daniel couldn't shake off the feeling that this night was going to be anything but ordinary. Little did he know, Emma had a few tricks up her sleeve, and this sleepover would turn out to be a night to remember.
