**Trapped in His World**

Part 8

Leilani's eyes fluttered open, and she was met with Florian's intense gaze. She tried to push him away, but he only held her tighter. Panic set in as she realized she was still in her bedroom, but she had no recollection of how she got there. The memories of the previous night came flooding back, and she felt a wave of nausea wash over her. As she struggled to free herself, Florian's grip only tightened. "Don't try to leave me, Leilani," he whispered, his voice husky with emotion. "You're mine now. Forever." Leilani's mind reeled as she tried to process what was happening. She thought back to the conversation she had with Rick, and how Florian had appeared out of nowhere, snatching the phone from her hand. She remembered the feeling of being trapped, of being consumed by Florian's darkness. With a surge of adrenaline, Leilani managed to wriggle free from Florian's arms. She scrambled out of bed, her heart racing as she backed away from him. "I need some space, Florian," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. Florian's eyes narrowed, his face darkening with anger. "You don't need space from me," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "You need me. You're mine, Leilani. And I'll do whatever it takes to keep you." Leilani felt a chill run down her spine as she realized the extent of Florian's obsession. She knew she had to get away from him, but her feet seemed rooted to the spot. She glanced around the room, searching for a way out, but Florian had positioned himself between her and the door. Just as she thought she was trapped, Leilani remembered her phone. It was still lying on the floor, where Florian had dropped it. She made a split-second decision and lunged for it, her fingers closing around the device like a lifeline. Florian's eyes widened in anger as Leilani dialed a number, her heart racing with fear. She prayed that Rick would answer, that he would be able to help her escape from Florian's clutches. The phone rang a few times before Rick's voice picked up. "Lani, what's going on? I was worried sick about you." Leilani's voice trembled as she spoke, but she knew she had to keep talking. "Rick, I need your help. Florian...he's not letting me go. I need to get out of here." There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment, Leilani wondered if Rick had hung up. But then his voice came back, firm and resolute. "I'm on my way, Lani. Just stay on the line and don't move. I'll be there soon." Leilani's eyes locked onto Florian's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. She knew she had to stall for time, to keep Florian distracted until Rick arrived. But as she looked into his eyes, she saw a glint of madness there, a spark of obsession that made her blood run cold. She knew she was running out of time.
