**Uncharted Territory**

Part 4

Kai blushed and looked away, unable to believe he actually admitted it. He ran a hand down his face, feeling a mixture of emotions swirling inside him. The fire ninja, blushing. It was a sight Cole couldn't help but stare at, his cheeks heating up in response. Cole's eyes roamed over Kai's body again and again, getting distracted with not-so-clean thoughts coming to his mind. He swallowed thickly, trying to compose himself, but it was no use. His gaze lingered on Kai's lips, his shoulders, and his chest, making his heart pound in his chest. "I don't know why," Cole muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I never felt like this." Kai glanced at him, a hint of vulnerability in his eyes. "I never thought…I'd like a guy," he admitted, his voice soft and hesitant. Cole's eyes snapped back to Kai's face, his gaze locking onto his teammate's. He could see the uncertainty in Kai's eyes, and it made him want to reach out and reassure him. Kai leaned back on the couch, his legs spreading to a degree that showed...many things. His shirt moved off his waist and the edge of his abdomen, making Cole's thoughts wild. Cole's eyes followed the movement, his mind racing with images he didn't want to acknowledge. Something in Cole seemed to snap, and he lost all restraint. He reached out, his hand brushing against Kai's thigh, sending a spark of electricity through both of them. Kai's eyes flashed to Cole's, a mixture of surprise and desire burning in their depths. Cole's hand lingered on Kai's thigh, his fingers tracing the edge of his shorts. Kai didn't pull away, his body seeming to lean into Cole's touch. The air was charged with tension, and Cole could feel the attraction between them building into something more. For a moment, they just sat there, Cole's hand on Kai's thigh, their eyes locked on each other's. Then, without a word, Cole leaned in, his lips brushing against Kai's in a soft, gentle kiss. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the uncharted territory of their feelings.
