A Glimmer of Hope Ashley stood in front of the bathroom sink, her heart racing with anticipation as she stared at the pregnancy test in her hand. It had been three weeks since they had started trying, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. She quickly washed her hands, trying to compose herself as she made her way out of the bathroom. Dominic was in the living room, working on his laptop, and she couldn't wait to share the news with him. "Hey, babe," she said, trying to sound casual as she walked into the room. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" Dominic looked up from his laptop, a questioning expression on his face. "What's up?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. Ashley took a deep breath, trying to contain her excitement. "I took a pregnancy test," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Dominic's face lit up with a radiant smile. "And?" he asked, his eyes shining with hope. Ashley smiled, feeling a sense of joy and excitement wash over her. "It's positive," she said, her voice filled with emotion. Dominic's face changed in an instant, a look of shock and joy crossing his features. He quickly got up from the couch, pulling Ashley into his arms as they both burst into tears of joy.
