**Aftermath of Heroism**

Part 173

I smiled as I read through the responses from Inasa-kun and Shindo, their words a testament to the bond we shared as friends and classmates. Shindo's message was straightforward, his concern for my well-being evident in his words: "Are you ok from the Burns? Thank you for protecting me, you didn’t have to do that." I quickly typed out a response, my thumbs flying across the screen. "Yea, I’m fine, Shindo-kun," I replied, trying to reassure him that I was okay. Next, I looked at Inasa-kun's message, his words a mix of apology and worry: "I’m so sorry for what happened, I didn’t know it was going to hit you." His message seemed more subdued, his concern for me evident in the words. I took a deep breath and decided to respond to both of them, trying to calm their nerves. I typed out a message, sending it to both Inasa-kun and Shindo: "Guys, I'm really okay, don't worry about it. It was just a mistake, and I'm glad everyone is safe." As I hit send, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. I knew that my friends were worried about me, and it was only natural that they would feel that way after what had happened. But I also knew that I had to reassure them, to let them know that I was okay and that we could move forward from this. Ochaco and Todoroki looked at me curiously, their eyes asking if everything was okay. I smiled and showed them my phone, letting them read the messages and my responses. They smiled back, seeming to relax a bit now that they knew I was okay. Todoroki cleared his throat, his eyes still filled with a hint of guilt. "I'm glad you're okay, Vesper," he said, his voice sincere. "I don't know what I would have done if anything had happened to you." Ochaco nodded in agreement, her eyes shining with concern. "We're all just glad you're okay," she said, her voice soft. The room fell silent again, but this time it was a comfortable silence. We had faced a difficult situation, and we had come out on top. And as I looked around at my friends, I knew that we would always be there for each other, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
