"A Sudden Declaration of Love"
Part 195
Before anyone could respond to Mina's question, Kirishima suddenly scooped me up in his arms, cradling me bridal-style as he gazed into my eyes with an excited grin. I felt my heart skip a beat as he leaned in, his lips brushing against mine in a gentle yet passionate kiss. I blushed deeply, feeling like I was melting into his arms. I hadn't expected Kirishima to be so bold, and for a moment, I forgot about the others around us. The world seemed to narrow down to just the two of us, lost in the sweetness of the moment. But as I gazed up at Kirishima, I became aware of the stunned silence around us. The others' jaws had dropped, their eyes fixed on us in shock. Even Bakugo, who had been notoriously stoic, looked surprised, his eyes widened in astonishment. Mina was the first to break the silence, her voice barely above a whisper. "Kirishima, what are you doing?!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with a mix of amusement and shock. Kirishima, still holding me in his arms, turned to face the others with a goofy grin. "I couldn't help it!" he exclaimed, his face still flushed with excitement. "I've had feelings for her for a while now, and I just couldn't keep them bottled up anymore!" The others stared at us, unsure of how to react. Kaminari was rubbing his temples, looking like he was about to get a headache. "This is getting complicated," he muttered. Bakugo, still looking stunned, shook his head. "I didn't see that coming," he said, his voice low and rough. I, on the other hand, was still trying to process what had just happened. Kirishima's kiss had been sweet and gentle, but it had also been unexpected. I looked up at him, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside me. As I gazed into his eyes, I realized that I might have feelings for Kirishima too. But before I could process those feelings further, I had to navigate the aftermath of his bold declaration. I smiled up at him, feeling a blush still lingering on my cheeks. "Thanks for the surprise," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. Kirishima's face lit up with a smile, and he hugged me tighter. "Anytime," he whispered, his lips brushing against my ear. The others were still staring at us, but I didn't care. For now, I was just going to savor the moment, and see where things went with Kirishima.
