**Chapter 1: Capture**

Part 1

Ahsoka Tano crouched behind a crumbling wall, her lightsaber humming softly as she peered out into the ruined streets of the Separatist stronghold. Her mission was to gather intelligence on the Separatist's plans, and she had been tracking a lead for hours. As she scanned the area, her senses picked up on a group of droids patrolling the perimeter. She noted their positions and timing, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. With a swift and silent movement, Ahsoka leapt out from her hiding place, her lightsaber flashing through the air as she took down the droids one by one. She worked quickly and efficiently, her training as a Jedi Knight evident in every strike. As the last droid fell, Ahsoka sheathed her lightsaber and approached the entrance to the stronghold. She slipped inside, her eyes adjusting to the dim light within. The air was thick with the smell of smoke and grease, and Ahsoka could hear the distant hum of machinery. She moved cautiously, her senses on high alert as she made her way deeper into the stronghold. It was then that she felt it - a presence, dark and foreboding. Ahsoka's instincts screamed at her to be careful, but she was too far in to turn back now. She rounded a corner, and that was when she saw him. The Inquisitor. He was tall and imposing, his face twisted by a scar that ran from the corner of his eye to the edge of his jaw. His eyes seemed to bore into Ahsoka's very soul, and she could feel the darkness emanating from him. "Ah, Ahsoka Tano," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "I've been tracking you for some time now." Ahsoka drew her lightsaber, its hum growing louder as she prepared to defend herself. But the Inquisitor was too quick, too powerful. He struck with a speed and ferocity that Ahsoka couldn't match, and she found herself disarmed and on the defensive. The Inquisitor's lightsaber pressed against her throat, and Ahsoka knew she was beaten. She raised her hands in surrender, her mind racing with thoughts of escape and counterattack. The Inquisitor's eyes gleamed with triumph as he reached out and grabbed Ahsoka, pulling her close. "You're a prize catch, Ahsoka," he whispered, his breath hot against her ear. "The Empire will be very interested in you." As the Inquisitor's grip tightened around her, Ahsoka knew that she was in grave danger. She was at the mercy of a former Jedi turned Imperial agent, and she had no idea what he had planned for her. But she was determined to find out, and to escape if possible. The fight in her was far from over.
