Finding Rhythm

Part 2

Two days before her initial interview with the Brisbane Broncos for the manager position, Koa felt a mix of nerves and anticipation. She had spent countless hours preparing her resume, researching the team's history, and practicing her responses to common interview questions. However, she still felt a lingering sense of anxiety that she couldn't shake off. To calm her nerves, Koa decided to engage in a familiar activity that always brought her peace – Polynesian dancing. She packed a portable speaker, a few dance skirts, and her favorite music playlist, and headed to a nearby park. The park was conveniently located near the Broncos' training facility, and Koa hoped that the fresh air and exercise would help her clear her mind. As she arrived at the park, she set up her speaker and began to warm up, moving her hips and arms to the rhythmic beats of traditional Ori Tahiti music. The music was infectious, and Koa lost herself in the movements, feeling her worries slowly dissipate. She twirled and spun, her dark hair flying around her face, as she executed a series of intricate footwork patterns. The sounds of the city faded into the background, and all that mattered was the music, her body, and the freedom of expression. Unbeknownst to Koa, a passerby had stopped to listen to the music, drawn in by the infectious rhythms and Koa's energetic performance. Jordan Riki, a prop forward for the Brisbane Broncos, was walking back to the training facility after a morning run. He had heard the music and couldn't help but investigate. As he approached the park, he saw Koa in full swing, her hips swaying and her arms waving above her head. Jordan was immediately captivated by her movements, her energy, and her joy. He watched for a few moments, mesmerized by the fluidity of her dance and the way her dark hair flowed around her face. Koa, oblivious to her audience, continued to dance, lost in the music and the moment. Jordan, however, was transfixed. He couldn't help but notice the way her eyes sparkled, the way her smile lit up her face, and the way her body seemed to come alive with every step. After a few minutes of watching, Jordan reluctantly tore himself away, not wanting to intrude on Koa's private moment. As he continued on his way to the training facility, he couldn't shake off the image of Koa dancing. He felt a spark of curiosity and a hint of intrigue. Who was this mysterious woman, and what was she doing in the park, dancing with such passion and abandon? Jordan couldn't help but wonder if he would see her again, and what her story might be. For the first time in a long while, he felt a flutter in his chest, a feeling he hadn't experienced in a long time. As he entered the training facility, his mind was still on Koa, and the captivating rhythms of Ori Tahiti music that had brought them together, if only for a brief moment.
