**Unraveling the Past**

Part 3

Regulus's eyes dropped to the floor as he stood frozen, his chest heaving with a mix of emotions. The silence between him and Sirius was oppressive, and he could feel the weight of his brother's gaze on him. He knew he needed to explain, but the words got stuck in his throat. Sirius took a step closer, his voice softening. "Regulus, talk to me. What's going on with that...that boy?" He spat out the words, his disgust evident. Regulus's eyes flickered up to meet Sirius's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. He could see the concern and protectiveness in Sirius's eyes, and it made him feel a pang of guilt. He took a deep breath and tried to find the right words. "It's not what you think, Sirius," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I know it looks bad, but...I like sex. I love it, actually." He looked down at his feet, his face burning with shame. Sirius's expression changed from anger to confusion. "Regulus, what are you talking about? You're not making any sense." Regulus sighed and rubbed his temples. He knew he needed to explain, but it was hard to put into words. "I was...abused as a child," he said, his voice cracking. "By my father. He...he did things to me, and it...it messed me up." Sirius's eyes widened in shock, and he took a step closer to Regulus. "Oh, Regulus," he whispered, his voice full of compassion. Regulus shook his head, his eyes welling up with tears. "It's not an excuse, Sirius. It's just...I developed this...this hypersexuality. I crave it. I love it. I over-sexualise myself, and it's like...it's like I'm trying to prove something to myself. Like I'm still in control." Sirius's face was a picture of devastation, and he reached out to pull Regulus into a tight hug. "Regulus, oh my god, I'm so sorry. I had no idea." Regulus buried his face in Sirius's chest, feeling a wave of emotions wash over him. He had never told anyone about his past, and it felt like a weight was lifting off his shoulders. As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Regulus knew he still had a long way to go. He needed to confront his demons, to learn to control his hypersexuality, and to find a way to heal. But for now, he was just grateful to have Sirius by his side, to support him and love him for who he was. The silence between them was no longer oppressive, but a comforting reminder that they were in this together. Regulus took a deep breath and pulled back, his eyes meeting Sirius's. "I'm sorry, Sirius," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." Sirius smiled, his eyes shining with tears. "You don't have to be sorry, Regulus. I'm here for you, no matter what."
